Fortune Cookies - 70G

I bought these for a do it yourself family Chinese meal. The kids knew about fortune cookies and wanted to try some. These cookies come individually wrapped im red foil so look quite good and can be put on the table when setting it. The kids had good fun opening them to get the fortune out and they taste nice too. The quality is great value for money and we've still got plenty left over for next time!

I wouldn't buy these regularly but they were good for a special occasion.

Used these for a couple of different occasions and they always go down a treat. They taste great (best ones Ive had) and the fortunes are actually well thought out, for the most part (unlike some other brands where the fortunes are terrible). Thank you!

Kids loved these at our little party

My daughter has always wanted to try these, we've not had them at a restaurant for a long time so I bought a box for a theme night at home. These arrived well packaged. The box and inner packaging was bright and fun and all led to my daughter's excitement. All excellent quality, so far. Upon opening, the cookie had a good shape and nice colour. They cracked well, but left more crumbs than I have had before. They seemed to be on the thinner side. Now this is where we were disappointed...the first 2 cookies had no fortune inside. Seeing the disappointment on my daughter's face, we pulled another 1 from the box. Yet again no fortune. These were now turning into an expensive box of 'biscuits'. £4 for what is essentially 12 biscuits. Feeling a bit 'conned', I pulled out another cookie and luckily, it had a fortune in. Albeit, it was a little on the disappointing side, with its short sentence, followed by a French then German version. The fortune was almost like those instructions you find on a toy. The flavour was nice. It was sweet and as pleasant as fortune cookies goes. Overall, its a mixed opinion. Initial impressions were all good but was let down on execution. I would probably opt for another brand next time.
