I received one with my Mac laptop from work and it's worked well for both USB and to add a second monitor.I just bought a windows laptop and needed one's so I found this which is identical to the one from work. It's working great.I have two identical monitors each with HDMI 1 and 2 inputs. My Mac for work uses both HDMI 1 inputs, and my Windows for personal use is connected two both HDMI 2 ports. I run both laptops closed most of the time. Great product.

A easy to use docking station......

3 TIMES, CHARGING FAILURE, NOT LAST 20 MINUTES...I've purchased this three times and it will not allow a 15 watt charger to work before burning up within 20 minutes.I can't imagine how short lived trying to charge and work using a more powerful 60 watt capable charger will burn this up... maybe 1 minute at most?!! :-(What a scam!!!!The ports worked fine, but the point is you need power for some devices while charging, and this is exactly what this was designed for, however it totally sucks for what i need it to do.

This hub works great! I don't have an SD card reader on my computer, so this allows me to be able to get information off the SD card now! I also like that it gives me extra USB ports! Would recommend!

I used this thing for awhile to connect a monitor and to replace my barely functioning aux input that is on my laptop. I got a new pair of nice headphones and realized they sound terrible when plugged into this device. I tried plugging the headphones directly into the input on my laptop and the quality instantly improved. I bought an Apple USB C to aux adapter, plugged it into this, and my laptop didn't even recognize it. I tired swapping around my chords and adapters and plugged my power into the USB C input on this device. When I did this I got a warning telling me that power input was insufficient.TL;DR: The quality of everything that is plugged into this will significantly drop, especially audio equipment. Save your money and buy something of higher quality.

This is an ok hub… but unfortunately my work place does not allow me to use it on my work laptop because it has something that triggers the write access denial software at work. This results in a constant warning flag that interrupts my screen repeatedly.

This quit working in less than a year. Disappointing and I cannot do my job without a hub.

This brand is awful. The price is way off base for the poor quality and workmanship. This device gets very hot to the touch just being plugged into my Apple Mac Mini with nothing connected into the adapter's ports. So I now fear to actually use it because if it's hot with nothing connected, what will it do to my equipment if I actually try to use for what I bought it for? Useless and huge waste of money.

This is the second j5create device that I have bought and they work great (I needed a second, the first still works without issues). So reliable. I have used every port and they all worked as advertised.
