Excellent quality shears
I’ve been using these mainly to prune roses and unlike cheap ones that I have had before.. these have lasted! Previous cheap ones would result in a the spring in the shears coming out ( due to force of pruning), this has NOT been the case with these shears. Very happy!

Sharp and comfortable to use
These pruning shears perform very well and feel like a reliable tool for regular garden work. The blades are noticeably sharp and cut cleanly through small branches and stems without crushing them, which makes pruning quicker and more precise. The bypass design works well for live plants, and the spring action helps reduce hand fatigue during longer sessions. I also like that the grip feels comfortable and secure, even when applying more pressure. Several users mention that the cutting edge holds its sharpness well over time, and that matches my experience so far. The safety lock is simple but effective. Overall, they do exactly what they’re meant to do and feel like a solid, well-made pair of pruners that offer very good value.

Light but effective
These secateurs fit easily in my hand and the spring is not too strong so cutting through vegetation was very straightforward. The fact they come with a spare spring is a brilliant idea as that is how my last pair died

These feel sturdy and sharp.
I have only had the pruners for a week and so far I am very pleased with them. I recently moved and the garden needs some attention, all the roses need a great deal of work but I am limited to what I can do at this time of year. Sadly there are lots of dead areas on the roses and these pruners have had no problem with cutting through the various thicknesses. I have very limited use with my hands and I do not have the strength anymore, these pruners are comfortable to hold and being as sharp as they are they allow me to actually do some garden maintenance. The lock is also easy to use which is another bonus. The pruners come with a spare spring which is a bonus just in case the spring breaks. As I have said I have only had these for a week and so far I am very pleased with them and for the price they are very budget friendly. I would happily recommended for the able bodied as well as the less able.

Easy to achieve clean, sharp cuts
For the price they are a nice pair of pruning shears which have done a lovely job so far. The bypass blade on these shears are great for getting clean, sharp cuts, unlike my old anvil pruners which tended to crush everything. Means these are fabulous for all types of pruning be it soft or hard material (especially roses) as they achieve that nice crisp cut with very little effort. Locking lever is easy to use whilst wearing thick gloves. Most importantly the lever hasn’t accidentally moved and locked the shears during use, something some shears are prone to doing. Only time will tell if the lever loosens up. Was surprised to see it came with a spare spring. Nice touch given I have thrown away a few shears because the spring got lost. Would highly recommend them to anyone. POSITIVE THINGS: • Easy to grip • Bypass blade gives clean, sharp cuts • Locking lever nice and firm. • Comes with a spare spring

adequate for small jobs.
A little on the small and lightweight side, reasonable price, but not really designed as heavy duty all purpose equipment. Fairly sharp but basic construction and relatively flimsy. Good for light pruning only. They come with a spare spring which could prove useful, as those springs are easily displaced and lost in the undergrowth.

Great First Impression
Finding the pruning shears very effective so far. I put it into use on an old sunflower which needed cutting down. It had a fairly thick stalk and my previous method of using scissors would have taken a fair bit of effort... But these pruning shears opened wide enough for the stem and it sliced straight through it with little effort. It also has a little lock on the shaft too to keep it closed when not in use. One thing I also liked was the fact that you get a spare spring to put away in case the other one is worn in a few years time, and it also comes with a small lifetime warranty card! Much better than buying the expensive well known branded versions so will be recommending this to anyone who is looking for shears.

I got these shears 1.5 years ago and have used them weekly on my indoor and balcony plants. The handles are comfortable and the safety mechanism is easy to use. It is not heavy. There are no signs of rust. I keep my stored indoors. It's a great, simple design. These are great for pruning plant stems up to a few mm thick. The thick/wide blades easily slice through stems on strawberries, caladium, woody fuchsia stems and mums. These are not as good for pruning very delicate plants in small spaces, such as maidenhair ferns which have many 1 mm stems in a small area. For that I would recommend pruners with symmetric and thinner blades.
