Grout Pen For restoring tile grout. Dark Grey 5mm wide nib

These grout pens are great to use and really transform the appearance of tiles, whether brightening faded white grout, or changing the colour completely.You need to press the nib down to get the paint to flow, which you'll find yourself repeating frequently. Don't press too hard, as the nib eventually works its way inside the pen, so the less pressing the better.You can go at grout completely free hand, give it 5 mins or so to dry, then wipe over with a dry, preferably textured/micro-fiber cloth, to remove any excess on the tiles themselves. Don't worry, it comes off the tiles very easily.We used dark grey to make the 1/3 brick finish of our white tiles stand out, and we're really pleased with the results.I've bought another pen to keep as spare and use to touch up a few areas that were proving tricky to reach as the original pens ran out.The only down side is that painting the grout a darker colour shows you if/where it wasn't grouted very neatly to begin with!! I had to sand a few areas first to get the lines looking neat.

Likes this product…. Easy to use. Only downside is just ensure you order correct colour. Dark grey is more a mid to dark grey but it worked okay as only needed to touch up small pieces

I had tiles replaced on my kitchen floor, but they used the wrong coloured grout, so I bought these pens to colour match. They did a fab job as you can see. It can get a bit messy, so just have a wet rag in hand.

Having spent hours on my hands and knees scrubbing cream kitchen floor tile grouting clean, I finallydecided I'd had enough and bought the dark grey grouting pen. It worked a treat and now all I have todo is steam mop my floor tiles and they come up looking like new. I recommend the grout pen and the Seller.

This doesn’t work so well on my grout. But my bathroom is a bit grim anyway.

Amazing!! went on easy, drove quickly and the end result is nothing short of brilliant!! Better than my expectations!! Before and after pictures say it all!

This product is for everyone who has had difficulty finding a 'dark grey' grout (as there seems to be a gap in the market with BAL grout who only seems to manufacture either a black or 'mid/light' grey.) I have tried other grout 'dyes' but these did not cover up white blemishes in the grout and ended up looking very 'purple' when applied over mid grey grout, and had to be applied with a toothbrush which took along time. I would say this product covers blemishes well. There is a slight purple 'tinge' when viewed in daylight (hence I given only 4*) but the colour matching to Mapei 'Anthracite' sealant is an near as damn. I applied two coats followed by two coats of grout stain repellant. It is easy to apply but I would recommend working in small areas and removing the excess from tiles as you go as it does dry quite quickly and can be difficult (but not impossible) to remove from the tile surfaces. I've used this on both walls and floors including a wetroom type shower. It has only been a few weeks since I fully completed this project so cannot comment if the floor colour will wear off or if the amount of wet in the shower will somehow remove in time but I can say at this point I am pleased and relieved to have found this product

This is amazing! Didn’t think too much of it but was in a deal and thought I’d try it. It’s transformed my bathroom flooring! I’ve even tried it in the kitchen now to spruce up the tiles.
