Hour hand is off
The hour hand moves closer to the next hour even before the minute hand hits the half hour mark. I've tried to adjust it, but can't seem to remedy the issue. It has caused me to read the watch incorrectly when I look at it quickly. Otherwise, I love the look of the watch and features are great. I wanted a watch the gave me similar data to the Apple watch, but didn't look like one. I've received numerous compliments on this watch, but the hour hand debacle drives me crazy!

You should know what you're getting into with Skagen
This watch is shipped with two documents one a small booklet and the other one just a folded sheet. Neither of these documents tell you what button does what, what the icons are, or anything else about how to use the watch. It is a fine looking watch. And you can glean a lot of information by simply pressing the buttons to see what they do. But it's important to note that you have to figure it out for yourself. The text is entirely too small as are some of the icons.

Good watch with a bad software glitch or two
I've had this watch for about 5 months now. And it's a pretty great hybrid smart watch. But it does seem to have some shortcomings, and they definitely seem software based...First the GOOD: It looks great, the crystal is holding up very nicely, and the e-ink face makes battery life AMAZING! And the custom face upload is fun too. And it seems to do a great job at tracking steps and health stats. (As far as I can tell, I'm not a doc or an athlete, but as a regular person, seems to jive with my phone's steps mostly)The BAD: I have an Android phone, and I don't know about iPhones, but MAN, for things to run smoothly for tracking work-outs, it requires you to give full permissions for notifications and communication with your phone. And as a result, 1) I am constantly getting notifications on the watch that the HR 2.0 (heart rate Skagen thing) just disconnected, just reconnected, is reading, etc. and 2) there is a "SK" icon displayed on my phone ALL THE TIME. When it's awake, it's in the upper right corner next to the clock, and when it's asleep, it's smack dab in the middle of the sleep screen!?! Definitely not a CLEAN experience... not sure Fossil is giving Skagen enough software resources and support...

Great Hybrid watch
Has all the features I would actually use in a smart watch- heart rate monitor, step counter, sms alerts and fitness tracker. It also has a sleep monitor, but I will probably never use that.The best part is that it doesn’t look like a smartwatch at all. It looks and feels like a very stylish wristwatch.The only negative is the strap. It was clearly made for women and I had to order a separate one to fit my wrists. The watch itself is a size and design that I would recommend regardless of gender.
