I have two 4 year old dachshunds and both have always had dry skin. Aside from that, back in November 2019 my one girl began developing recurrent ear infections. We tried everything and finally did a DNA test on her in February 2020. Came to find out she is allergic to chicken and salmon! I had been adding a pump of salmon oil in their dog food daily, plus they ate a lot of salmon treats. Starting March, we adjusted her diet and the only thing giving her omega-3’s was herring oil found in her new dog food. (Side note, the old dog food was Primal freeze dried raw which also had salmon oil included in the food. We switched to Vital essentials freeze dried raw which has herring oil only.) Good news was, internal ear infections cleared up almost immediately! We we’re thrilled. Bad news, I noticed her itching her ears even more now than before! I took a peak one day and her skin was extremely dry. She had huge flakes of dandruff all over both ears and was actually losing hair from itching. So I began researching, knowing we changed her diet and that she may be lacking omega-3’s. I found out that salmon oil has way more Omega-3’s than herring oil so she had went from more than enough with the old diet and supplements, to little to none. I then began to research what else I could supplement for the salmon oil. I came across this product and thought, how easy. Just powder in their food daily and I don’t have to worry about anything going rancid. Both of my doxies have been on it for about 4 weeks and the results are unbelievable! I wish I had taken a before picture of her skin but unfortunately I didn’t. My doxie has zero dry skin/flakes on her ears. She has completely cleared up and is back to her old, energetic self! Also, my other doxie has always been an itcher and we have noticed she is not itching anymore! I can’t say enough how happy I am to have found this product and will be using it every day from now on. Both of my girls had no issues with eating it either. They didn’t even notice that I added it to their food.

My retired show dog Great Dane female has struggled with dry skin and coat since she was spayed. This isn’t uncommon since there is a hormone change once this occurs.She also in her older age had developed arthritis in her neck, also not uncommon for her breed or age.I finally purchased this product and have noticed a massive improvement in her coats shine and the amount of dander and shedding. The dose is so small I easily hide it in her food. And I prefer this to fish oils as they contain trace metals.Also paired with a joint health supplement I have noticed significant improvement in her overall flexibility in her neck.I HIGHLY recommend this product, much more affordable than oil and it’s better in basically every way.

They say the road to hell is paved with the best intentions… I wanted a stable and clean way to give my dog omega-3s which are incredibly vital for health and can’t be produced by the body. Fish oils are often rancid, or exposed to xenoestrogens, heavy metals, and toxins from polluted waters. I’ve read good things about phytoplankton and that’s what led me to this product. If only this product was as healthy and supportive as it pretends to be.The other reviewers that pointed out the heavy metal content are absolutely correct. This product’s Certificate of Analysis showed high amounts of heavy metals… including ARSENIC. (That’s a poison if you live under a rock.) Conveniently at the time I’m writing this the COA is a broken link, and the information is now much harder to find. Mr. Ros doesn’t even link to the COA here. It’s on a third part site. The lack of transparency doesn’t speak well for Mr. Ros. I could see that they would want to hide this information to keep getting money from unsuspecting but well-intentioned pet owners. There’s even typos on the pouch it comes in- I’ve attached a photo of one such typo. Yeah, it’s in the trash. I’m upset how long it’s taken for me to realize that’s where this product belongs.Sadly, my outrage isn’t just at the surprise toxic content but the effect it’s had on my beloved dog. Shortly after I began adding this to my dog’s food he has developed a systemic yeast infection. He’s never experienced anything like this before. He eats a high quality raw diet, drinks the best water, he has a natural shampoo with minimal ingredients, he takes a probiotic. He’s cared for. Unfortunately, for a month and a half he’s been itching himself to the point of causing hematomas on his ears, he smells bad, he’s lost fur, and treatment hasn’t been much help so far. It’s heartbreaking. For the first time in his life he has to wear the cone of shame, so I can protect him from ripping his own skin open from itching. Folks, yeast feeds on heavy metals. The only guaranteed source of heavy metals in this dog’s life is THIS PRODUCT. I can’t help but correlate the introduction of this product and its high amounts of heavy metals with my dog’s worsening state. Now that I’ve caught it I’m hoping that, in time, the yeast can die off and my dog can be vibrantly healthy again. Mr. Ros is sketchy and shameless and I will never make the mistake of purchasing from this brand again. I probably won’t be making purchases for my dog from Amazon again either. This experience has been a nightmare.UPDATE: My dog’s systematic yeast infection completely cleared up after discontinuing this product with NO additional treatment required. Again, yeast thrives on heavy metals. This product contains ridiculous amounts of heavy metals. This company, “Mr. Ros”, has hidden the results of their analysis from the public. They’ve never reached out to me about this review. They don’t care about their customers and they definitely don’t care about the health of your pet. Do your research and save your pet the pain.

I'm not sure about the results as I've only been feeding my dogs this product for a few days, but they seem to love the taste/smell. It's very fishy/ocean-y in fragrance, a green powder, and I just sprinkle it on their food. They gobble it up even faster than normal This works well for my dogs as they don't eat pills in their food but need the Omega 3 supplement.The bag is a resealable ziplock that could be a little easier to close each time. Also, no measuring scoop came with the product - I just use one of my cooking tsps. Add one of those slider zips to the bag, a measuring scoop, and drop the price a little and I would give this 5 stars.***The company also makes a horse / canine version with a little blue spirulina in it for close to half the cost per same serving. That's what I'll be ordering from now on.***
