Sucks with my PCs
It's practically unusable with my basic Windows PCs. When I try to move files too it, it times out quciker than quick. Makes it almost completely unusable. Waited to long to send it bacck and now it's a 100 dollars stuck in some box of electronic crap.

Streams well on the surface.
So far it's been amazing! I've used Zygo for a couple of years now and their technology is great, but they are really expensive and the headsets are a little fragile. This looked like a less expensive solution and worth a try. So far, so good. 90% of the time I use it for streaming from my phone and it does a good job. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SNORKEL!!! It's sensitive to ANY water over the top (Flips turns are totally out). Even the water over the head from a hard push of the wall causes a couple of seconds loss BUT that's a small concession for streamed audio. Again, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SNORKEL! Just the head going under the water will interrupt the stream. If you buy it knowing that, you're golden. Playlists as a rule are too dull for me...I like a little randomness. That said, when I use the onboard .mp3s it's great. So if flips turns, fast laps, no snorkel, etc. is your jam, it's great. I use the bone conduction phones and I'm very happy with them. I would have liked to try the in-ear phones but the headsets are too expensive for "trying" :). The USB to headphone jack feels cobbled together and I'm worried about its longevity/replacemnts. I think a contact charging setup would be better, but we will see. It's only been a couple of weeks so we will see what they longevity if the device is, but so far I'm pretty happy and impressed with it as an option to replace my Zygo.

Good audio, but deceptive feature description - NO PLAYLIST+
The audio quality is pretty good. Bluetooth cuts off if the base unit gets even an inch or so under water. Getting it positioned properly on the swim goggles is a bit of a hassle, but works well enough. However the app (called H2O Audio) fails to recognize the device, which seems to be a universal experience per the appstore reviews. The prodict description says this features Playlist+, a geature that allows saving anything you are streaming via bluetooth to the device for offline use (great for swimming). However, contrary to the claim, this model (Stream 3) does not have the Playlist+ feature. This deceptive description needs to be removed from the listing.

Good for streaming Bluetooth while swimming
H20 Audio I've been lap swimming and listening to MP3 music or public library audiobooks for 10 - 15 years. Recently all libraries stopped loaning audiobooks (Overdrive/Libby) in MP3 format. I've been looking for a good way to listen to music and audiobooks that are on my phone for a while. Being able to use Bluetooth with my phone eliminates all transfer hassles. The H2O Audio Stream 3 PRO with PLAYLIST+ lets me stream from my iPhone to my waterproof ears buds just fine. The H20 Audio people will tell you that they don't recommend Bluetooth Streaming when you are swimming, but I've only had minor issues when streaming from my iPhone to the device while swimming. You need to clip the Stream 3 PRO on the back of your swim googles (so that it is out of the water) and then the attached earbuds work fine while swimming! Bluetooth only works for a few inches under the water so you need to keep the Audio Stream 3 PRO out of the water - no real aggressive swimming and no flip turns! The Audio Stream 3 PRO disconnects and reconnects pretty seamlessly when you do go under water. In Bluetooth mode the Stream 3 PRO with PLAYLIST+ lets you copy streaming programs into local memory and listen to them later. So, in theory, you could make a copy of your Libby audiobook or a podcast or some other streaming program, store it on the device and play it back when you were swimming without worrying about whether the Stream 3 PRO was under water. To make the copy you need to play the program on the device and it will copy the program to local memory while it is playing. (This means that you tie up you device for an hour or two while it plays the program and makes a copy of it on your Stream 3 PRO.) The Audio Stream 3 PRO in addition to Bluetooth mode has a Memory mode. Memory mode lets you listen to MP3 music that you have transferred to the device (a simple file copy). My only suggestion is to make the On/Off Play/Pause button tactilely more different than the other buttons. Since it is on the back of my head sometimes I have trouble figuring out which button is the On/Off Play/Pause button. Not a big deal but it would make a really good device A+. I swim in a 40 foot pool with my iPhone 15 - 20 feet away from the edge of the pool. I use the Surge Bone Conduction Headphones. Overall I would say that it has great sound quality, is comfortable, and pretty easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone that swims.

Bone conduction headphones not working
The player doesn’t hold charge, it heats a lot, the headphone only works on one the left side. I bought this with high enthusiasm, but six months after purchase with very little use, I’m frustrated and dissatisfied with this. How can you offer this, and with such a high price?

Solid for the price (minor upload issues on Windows)
I decided to spend a little more and get the bone conduction option. I have been using them for lap swim for a few months now with no major issues other than uploading music, for that reason it's 4 stars. If you are a mac/apple user you shouldn't have any problems. For some reason my windows pc struggles to recognize the MP3 player, I would've returned the earbuds if I didn't have a macbook. I have no problems with seeing the drive on my mac. Sound quality is incredible underwater and okay if turned up high enough above water. Be aware that yes, if you have the volume on high others around you can hear it a little. A good way to get the perfect volume is adjusting the volume before submerging so that you can barely hear it, then when you put your head underwater it should be a medium volume. This product is a good option if you are looking for underwater headphones on a budget.

My workouts in the pool have become nicer with the H2Oaudio headphones, now inseparable swimming companion. The sound is perceived in the water without interruption, the normal headphones in the ear are filled with water, with H2Oaudio bone conduction does not lose the music even during the flip turn. Only the lowest tones become hums, but you don’t have to listen to a piano concerto by Franz Liszt.

Have returned previous one from another brand and was refunded by Amazon (thanks again) as it stopped working in MP3 Mode after first use in pool. I used it h2O in pool for two hours and experience was fine. The 360 clipping helps more comfortable with swimming cap ; which l thought could be problematic. The sound is ok vocals and high pitches not so promising. But believe this is normal for bone conduction and when you are in water. An equalizer preset/ mode selection would be good to have :) Will try to update comments in 4-6 weeks as was hard to find reviews that would help me decide on which product to buy for swimming
