Strong, good magnets
These make a good break-away in a bracelet or such, to release in case something gets caught up. Magnets are plenty strong, holders are machined nicely and color is nice. Maybe not the cheapest, recommend the 3 pack rather than paying $10 for one. But getting good quality is worth some $ to me.

Such a strong magnet!!
I purchased this to use on my disc golf bag to attach my towel. After using the towel I can just swing it over and the magnets catch without any excess effort. Now I also use one on my purse to hold my AirPods. Love, love, love this.

Great Tool for Keys or Anything You Would Like Quick Easy Access to and Quick Re-Attachment
This little guy is awesome. I purchased this to use on my keychain so I can easily remove and re-attach my key fob for work. I was worried that the magnet was not going to be strong enough to make me comfortable hanging it off my belt, and I was way wrong. The magnet is very strong and I do not worry that this will become unattached from bumping into something. You definitely need to give it a good yank to separate the two sides and when I put my fob near it after I've used it, it snaps back together before I've touched the two pieces together.I understand the intended use of this item is to connect a fly fishing net to your person when fishing. I cant say I've used it for that, but I can tell you the magnet is extremely strong and I imagine it would work very well for that purpose as well as a keychain accessory.

Powerful magnets that are great *if* you use them right
I keep quite a few things on my key ring: my key organizer, my car key, a gate fob, a keychain flashlight, and a mini pill bottle for emergency meds. I had the "bright" idea of using these as a sort of "quick detach" for each item. That way I could clip my keyring to my pants and just yank off whichever specific item I needed, then seamlessly pop it back on afterward – all without having to fumble through all the junk on my keyring. Here's the thing, though: these magnets are pretty dang strong. And when you remove one half of the strong magnet, the other half REALLY wants to magnet on up to something else. And that something else is usually... y'know, one of the other *very* close-by magnets (or to the metal of the flashlight or pill bottle). So in practice, I would yank off the item I needed, the keyring magnet would immediately snap to something else, and I would *still* need to unhook my keyring and fumble through all the junk on it anyways.Should this have been an obvious end result to anyone with common sense? Yes, and it has given me much to question about my own perceived mental capabilities in life. The more you know and all that. These definitely work well if you're using them as a single connector/quick-release-and-re-attach method, as opposed to using them to attach multiple things to a single connection point. I've run, wiggled and waggled, swayed and played, and done all sorts of quick movements while using these and I've not once had anything fly off. I've not once worried about something accidentally detaching and getting lost. Just don't over-engineer solutions to minor problems like I did and you'll be fine.

Makes a great keyring quick release
This has very powerful magnets and I use it to keep my car key attached to my other keys. I just yank them apart when I take the car in for service. It never comes apart without my making it happen. This has about 7 lbs of attraction, so if you need such a device, don't hesitate to try this out. Be creative with it uses.

This works... a little TOO well.
I would give it a 4 but it wouldn't be air cause the product didn't break and worked as advertised. This is more for someone buying it - I wouldn't recommend this on your daily keychain UNLESS you get titanium keyrings because this thing is so powerful it will stick to everything. I even had it pull a key ring OUT of the larger key ring and lost my car key. I also got my car key stuck inside my car to because this thing really wants to grab whatever is strongest.I really wanted something that was quick release for my car but I can't do it with a magnet. ad to go with the slide mechanism.

Strong and durable
I use this to hook my car keys to my purse. It's a very strong magnet, and has held up very well for going through such a daily beating for almost two years. It's hooked to the outside of my purse, and my keys have not once fallen off, but are also not difficult to remove when I want. If you're using it for a similar purpose as me, remember to use stainless steel, aluminum, or brass key rings so it doesn't stick to your keys.Edit: I would like to note that I went back and bought the two pack. They are not the same product. The two pack appears to be a knock-off version. I'll leave it five stars for now since I haven't really tried the new ones yet, but it's something to consider.
