According to the reviews, all such products seem to have durability issues - at roughly the same percentage - including ones which cost 5X as much.I took a small gamble at £12.99. It was delivered promptly and packaged reasonable well. It came with 4 spare rubber feet (one of the recurring issues) so I should be fine for a while. Fit and finish are well up to the price point and in clear, it looks pretty good on my machine but note this is thin, light plastic (by design) and if it lasts >6 months I'll be happy and upgrade to 5* (even though it has a 12 month guarantee).Initial experience is positive. Glad I didn't spend £60 or more.

Firstly, as soon as I took the packaging off the item there was some stickiness to the top cover and it had these sticky lines that even a wet wipe doesn't remove, as shown in the picture above (the apple sticker is my own). Secondly the bottom cover does not cover all corners (the two corners next to the screen) which was the only reason I picked this colour and this product over others as pictures showed full 4 corner coverage. Awful material and awful product. Shame because the fit is very good.

I’ve never used skins etc on my Macbook Pros but wanted to protect the beautiful Space Grey finish of my new MBP while still intending to throw it in my bag, without using a case. I picked the opaic dark grey. It looks incredibly smart, clips on really solidly, and has a really nice, ever so slightly grippy texture. Have no doubts it will protect my laptop from the majority of day to day damage.I know some have complained about the hinge being exposed however, given the MBPs form factor there’s little the manufacturer could do. If you want complete protection a sticker skin would probably work better but longer term I feel this shell will offer far sturdier protection.Finally, I contemplated buying one of the more expensive brands of shell however, decided it was Amazon, if this was garbage I could easily return it and buy something else. I literally cannot believe any other brand would provide a better shell or protection.It’s an odd thing to get excited about, let alone write a few hundred words about however, am very pleased with this shell so decided to share my joy (also it arrived less than 12 hours after I ordered it - love Amazon Next Day - so that’s made me happy too)!

Early days but seems robust, fits well and looks great - when it's clean. The matt finish shows up finger prints badly and its needs constant cleaning to look at its best

I'm surprised about the tight fit compared to the price. The cover provides some great protection to the expensive MacBook, but that said, this model of MacBooks have some issues with heat buildup. Especially the i9 model.This cover, unfortunately covers some of the airduct-port, and the mac throttles more with the cover on.I've felt it necessary to mod it a little with a dremel.The cover also adds quite some thickness to the laptop. I guess this is not fault to the manufacturer but just the price you have to pay when adding a protective layer to both sides of your Macbook.Overall I will still prefer this cover over no cover.

I have had some cheap covers in my time but took a gamble on this one. Very happy with it. Easy to put on and take off but doesn’t feel loose. Allows me to sticker the hell out of the cover without affecting the actual laptop

Product is good enough quality for the price you pay, feels and looks good on MacBook

I've bought many of these hard shells from this company for various MacBooks and sizes, as always they come through on quality. Slim line and good quality, only problem I have with it is (and its small) I order the black shells but them come with white rubber feet? They do give a spare set but black feet would make much more sense. Also the rubber coating doesn't ware well, a matte plastic (not rubber) finish would be better I think
