I recently purchased the Draper Plastering Hawk, and while it's made entirely of plastic—including the handle—I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it performs. Pros: 1. Lightweight: The all-plastic construction makes it incredibly light, which is a huge bonus during long plastering sessions. 2. Durable Material: Despite being plastic, it feels sturdy and has held up well to daily use without any signs of cracking or bending. 3. Comfortable Handle: The plastic handle is ergonomic and provides a decent grip, even when my hands are slightly wet or dusty. 4. Easy to Clean: The smooth plastic surface is easy to wipe down after use, saving me time at the end of the day. Cons: 1. Not as Professional-Grade: While great for smaller jobs or DIY projects, it might not be the first choice for heavy-duty, professional work. 2. Grip Could Be Better: A bit of rubber or texture on the handle would improve comfort and control. Overall, this is a solid choice for beginners, occasional DIYers, or anyone who needs a lightweight plastering hawk. It’s affordable, practical, and does the job well.

Bought this for a few plastering jobs around the house. First of all I'm no plasterer and this was my first attempt. The item was nice and easy to assemble and arrived quickly. There is no major issues with this item, however that said the 3 circles on the top do attract a lot of plaster and when you clean it at the end of your job it's worth making sure these are cleaned out properly. That is the only negative I would have, the pluses are its light weight because it's plastic, it's a good size and comfortable to hold. I have used that 10 times in total and pleased that I choose this over some of the others on the market.

Works well, plaster clings to it well and is cheap. The only thing I don't like is the circle indent it the board which. Assume is there to help grip (?) but just makes it harder to clean. Not a big deal though, still worth the money. I like that it also comes dismantled so will be easy to take apart and store again when I'm done. Lightweight.

Utilissimo sia per dare il rinzaffo a cazzuola che per la malta d'allettamento. Una volta fissato, il manico non si muove più. Le dimensioni sono azzeccate: un carico pieno non è troppo pesante, ma dura abbastanza per non costringere a fare su e giù dalla scala ogni minuto. Tiene circa quattro cazzuolate colme di malta. Si pulisce facilmente con acqua e spugna, ma non dimenticatelo sporco a fine giornata, mi raccomando.
