Good quality, educational and fun to play
This is a great little game, more challenging than normal snap obviously, and we have voted it more fun. It actually has both adults and children having to think carefully as each card is turned! We've had lots of fun playing it, and it's improved both (child and parent) our visual and numerical fractions. The cards are very nice quality with a good thickness and slip, are well printed, and the designers have thought carefully about what to include in the set.In terms of suitable age group, well, anything from key stage 2 to adult really! I'm sure many participating parents would appreciate the slightly more challenging aspect of this snap game too. We've been enjoying it lots. Now where was I, oh yes 0.6 and 3/5 SNAP!

A fun way of learning
My daughter aged 9 was struggling with fractions and Percentage equivalents. Basically it is a game of snap were you need to match a pictoral fraction with a written fraction, for example One third is written down as a word and to 2/6 of a pie chart Is coloured in. It also has Percentage equivalents, however these are the basics such as 100, 50, 25, 20, and 10. I believe this satisfies the key stage two syllabus. There are also three self checking cards which summarise the fractions percentages and their equivalents. We play this as a family, It is good fun and my daughters confidence and understanding has greatly improved in this area.

Great we game for kids
These are a great idea. My 9 year old loved playing memory and snap with them. They arrived quickly too which was a bonus. The memory doesn’t 100% work as you are left with a few that doesn’t match at the end although not the end of the world. Only other suggestion would be that it would be better if more % ie 66.66% for 2 thirds etc as not many percentages included. But good game all the same

Worked immediately!
My 8-year old daughter (year 4) was having difficulty with fractions, decimals and percentage equivalents. The day we bought this we played several games without stopping and she got it straight away! She still needs to practise every now and again, and continues to enjoy the game, so it is well worth the money! They also have cards with differently represented diagrammatic equivalents of the fractions so it is also very visual for younger children.

Not as image shows
The packaging is totally different and is pretty much a white box with a sticker on it. It makes the item look cheap. The cards inside are fine- which is all that matters really, but if buying as a gift, like i did, it can look disappointing.

Quick thinking fun maths game
Bought this to help my daughter with her maths, specifically, with fractions & percentages. She is 11 & I initially thought this may be too simple for her but because of the nature of the game it forces you to think fast & even her 14yr old brother who is a bit of a maths genius had to think quite hard when playing (and so did their dad. Who is NOT a maths genius...!).A good little fun game.

not impressed
Cards are too small. Fractions are too easy.

Small cards but an interesting approach
Small sized cards, however it’s a fun way to have a quick look at fractions in an intervention class, quick games keep interest longer. It is something that we can revisit and they do appear to build confidence
