Rocks and Minerals Sticker Book (Natural History Museum Sticker Books)

Bought as a present for an eight year old who has a passion for gems and pieces of rock. This looks fun, informative and easy to follow. The stickers all have different shapes that correspond to the pictures in the text where they are to be placed, so you can't get them muddled up. Under the picture is simple information about the rock itself, and there are also a couple of pages of general information about how rocks and minerals are formed. It's all written in a way children will find easy to follow, is very bright and colourful and should help her find out more about the stones etc she already has.

A very useful book on gems, rocks and minerals showing us how to draw them too. I also like the idea of working with the stickers. I wish they came in a series

A brithday gift for a little girl who is interested in gems and stones and minerals, this was a fun thing to do and she enjoyed putting the stickers in the right places, and fun way to educcate a young mind and I enjoyed it too in helping her and learning myself. Nice book, thank you

This "book" is only 10 pages long. Its more like a glorified activity sheet pack. What there is, is really nice. Theres just not a lot of it!

I bought this for my gem mad 8 year old. She loved the photographs and learning all of the different crystal names. The stickers added an extra fun dimension. Overall nice quality and size and good value.

Great book. Worked liked a charm since its content helped us a lot, on a school project we were working on.Ideal for someone who is looking for an introductory book on rocks & minerals.

Das Heft ist für einen deutschsprachigen Mineralienfan, der gerade Englisch lernt. Es kam sehr gut an. Die Aufkleber sind Fotos verschiedener Edelsteine. Es gibt einige einfache Rätsel. Den Preis finde ich schon hoch für das was man bekommt, aber leider habe ich aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum nichts vergleichbares gefunden.

Stickers are much larger than quarters and have nice bright colors. Mineral name isnt printed on sticker itself so if you peel off and stick outside book ... wont have name attached. Havent tried yet so cant comment on adhesive power. Cover arrived creasedUPDATE: These dont have enough adhesive

This book is nothing like its description. The stickers are not re-usable. They are made of paper and sticky back. Once put on paper if you try and peel back off they curl and loose stickyness or rip paper. I bought thinking if they say reusable it should be made of soft plastic like the kind that peels off waxy cardboard pages, but these are just ordinary stickers with paper pages. The book is a joke with only 4 pages to place the specific named rocks, and 2 pages to place tiny extra stickers anywhere randomly. Then only one activity page with 3 one minute activities like you might find on a childs placemat at a restaurant. Page 1 is used to put childs name with a brief descriptive paragraph of the earth. That's it. Total 8 pages. Rip-off. Should cost a dollar!!
