Does what it's ment to. I use this in my workplace where it would not be good it a normal steel one if it was found lying somewhere. Helps that it is not much bigger than a pen

Works well but sore cause yoh have to hold button in place while cutting plus only one blade

If you buy a lot of things from Amazon then this is a must have to open all of those packages. Much safer to use than a stanley knife and easy to control. I expect the blade to last a while too. I spent years using my house keys to open packages, I was waiting for the day where they would no longer unlock the front door. It turned out that in the end the wife changed the locks anyway as I spent too much money ordering things on Amazon!

I really wanted some type of craft knife to easily open boxes or deliveries. My friend actually ordered this and raved to me about it- which prompted me to order it ASAP. I have not been disappointed. The knife is light, easy to use and most importantly it feels safe as it’s not your typical sharp blade. Would definitely repurchase when needed!

When I read that these were 10x sharper than a steel bladed utility I thought I’ve got to get one, how wrong I was, it maybe sharper but the fact you have to hold the spring loaded blade out unlike a traditional Stanley knife creates its own problems, I tried to cut underlay with it but the blade isn’t long enough (the spare blades are tiny in comparison to standard metal blades ) to get a proper cut through the thickness of the underlay, only time will tell if the blades stay sharper for longer, which they probably will because I will go back to using a standard utility knife from now on lol

I ordered 2 of these, and although it's feels nice and is easy to use, neither lasted long. The first one lasted a few weeks and the second lasted less than a week. I was working in a warehouse, where I was wearing it on one of those retractable clips. It saw a few bangs against things while I was working but nothing beyond that. I imagine it's well-suited to environments where it can be used gently, I'd advise against carrying it around a lot. The actual blade was good quality, it was easy enough to cut through cardboard with it, although the blade was a bit small in some cases. If you're only going to use this to open boxed, you shouldn't run into any problems.

This is a blade which auto-retracts. It is a safety knife. Very useful for working with cardboard and tape, etc. Saves an extra 1-2 seconds with every use, compared to using a normal utility knife, and also prevents accidental cutting, since I sometimes leave my other utility knife on the desk without closing it. Cuts fairly well. Corrugated cardboard boxes are no problem. Blades are insanely expensive compared to the actual knife, if they were cheaper I would have given this 5 stars. - But if the tool saves you time and keeps your hands safe then £5 for 3 blades once in a while is not a big issue. It does not cut as well as a metal blade, but it cuts well enough. The blunt tip also reduces risk of accidental stabbing. Super slim and lightweight which is what I wanted. I wear it on a belt often, with a small belt pouch intended for something else. It can go in the pocket, but be aware that it's easy for the blade to be pushed out so it's not really that safe in a pocket.

Lo he usado a diario durante dos años en el trabajo cortando cajas de cartón normales y plásticos para vacio o tipo bolsa, la cuchilla sigue cortando (no entiendo la gente que dice que no corta). Se me ha caído en multiples ocasiones, y al final con la repetición se ha roto la pestaña que une la boca negra al cuerpo verde pero se puede seguir usando, compra que repetiré y recomiendo sin duda. Sus ventajas frente a otros es que el retorno de la cuchilla aguanta, en otros modelos cede y se vuelve inseguro, la cuchilla no se ciega tanto como otros y es mucho más ligero por lo que llevarlo encima es mas cómodo. Para trabajar en una tienda, supermercado o similar es perfectísimo. Y tratándolo mejor que yo te va a durar más de dos años fijo.

Bought these as stocking stuffers for Xmas. Can put string on one end and hand on nail in garage of porch or wherever to open boxes or break them down for recycling, to cut whatever. Nice comfortable handle and switch to expose blade and retract in. Is durable and cuts great!
