No, amber is porous so it should definitely not be dipped in this solution. Town Talk do make some delicate spray cleaners but none as a dip. The pearl cleaner tissues should be suitable also.

Q: I have a morganite stone in my engagement ring as well as diamonds. Is it safe to use?

Morganite is a form of Beryl, other forms of beryl include Emerald. Morganite is too porous to be safely used with a dip.

This product is designed to clean gold jewellery set with gemstones, it is irrelevent whether it is gold, rose gold or white gold. The metal itself is best cleaned with a Town Talk gold polishing cloth. However if the item is scratched then you will need to have it polished by an actual jeweller (i.e. someone who makes rather someone than just sells jewellery - so don't bother going to a high street chain). If the rhodium plating is coming off your white gold ring (if it is beginning to look yellow) then you will need to have the item re-plated with rhodium. Again this is something which your tradesman jeweller can do for you. If you are in Jersey then this is something we can do for you in our workshop. White gold items in regular use require re-plating as often as twice per year, bearing in mind that Rhodium is more expensive than Gold, this is why we recommend not purchasing white gold jewellery. Find a good independent jeweller close to you and they should be able to assist you with all your jewellery requirements, purchasing quality jewellery online is always a very bad idea, as you really need to be dealing with someone you can trust given the complexity of the trade. This product is much, much cheaper in store than online.
