At first I was slightly concerned about the colour, Royal Blue, but I can confidently say after writing with it that it is a very deep coloured blue that is different from any other blue coloured ink I have ever written with.The ink flows smoothly, you can definitely see the quality of this product after writing. Would highly reccommend this product.

As I had just received a surprise gift of a MB pen, I decided to treat it to it's special ink. This ink really does dry faster than Parker or Cross ink.

Of course you can choose cheaper inks for your montblanc pen but if you are going to the trouble of getting a Montblanc pen you may as well use the ink. Clever bottles makes a mini reservoir at the front of the bottle so you can ensure you can always dip your pen right to the last drop.

The unusual shape of this ink bottle is a clever piece of design. It makes the insertion of the fountain pen nib easy and the process of filling trouble-free. Unlike usual bottles, the base has a raised section which allows you to gather the remaining ink right under the opening without having to tilt the bottle in a way that could lead to ink spillage. So, a potential problem eliminated. Clever. Like the Mont Blanc fountain pen, a masterpiece of design.

Always excellent to have a MontBlanc ink, especially since I suspect this bottle it so big it will do me forever. I have some MB inks which have kept for 30 years or more. Lovely colour.

I used to buy Montblanc cartridges for their easiness of use, but I have to admit, an ink bottle has its charm sitting on the work desk. I am more ready than ever to draw stick men in style.Cannot find any significant difference between Montblanc and Parker ink.Will repurchase.
