Calypso Hair & Scalp Protection Spray SPF30 Non Greasy High Protection UVA and UVB, 50ml

Bought this to protect my parting or hairline from sunburn. I sometimes used to get a sore scalp when brushing my hair after being in the sun w/out a hat (hate them!). It seems to give good protection but will be buying the SPF50 version next time (as why not get better protected) as I didn't realise they did SPF50 when I bought this. Easy to use & doesn't make my hair look greasy. Size is very convenient to carry in a handbag/carry on. Price seems very fair, especially considering the silly prices charged by higher end brands!

An excellent product that I`ve used for several years to protect my `folically challenged` scalp. Having worked and lived in both Australia and Singapore where sun exposure can be extreme, my sensitive skin has never been sun burned. Now retired and back in the UK I use this product every day during the summer, its not greasy and dry`s without a trace. Throughly recommend this product which is available in SPF 50 too.

I wear a hat in the sun due to thinning hair which makes my scalp/parting particularly sensitive & liable to burning. Sadly, always get caught out when swimming in the sea without my hat… but not this year! Great product which is easy to apply and meant my scalp was protected during those brief but frequent dips in the sea to cool off. Does leave your hair looking greasy, but that doesn’t matter when you’re on the beach (and the hat covers it up anyway) Definite repurchase.

Does the job. Did leave my hair a little greasy but nothing like normal suncream would do. Haven’t tried any other product but would use again

I started using this a year ago as I've got a baldy head well not completely bald it grows round back and sides and this started when I was in my early 20s and I always said that when it goes on top of my head I'd shave the full head I've been doing this for nearly 35 years now ,but came across this spray as when it was sunny I'd put a cap on and what I'd discovered is my face and neck would get a tan but my head was pale wilt using the cap now what I do when the weather id good and sun comes out I put this spray on to stop my head from burning and gets a little tan on it were it doesn't look stupid and on the hottest day I put my cap on it truly perfect for the job , I had some left over from last spring and summer and the sun in bonnie Scotland has showed itself so I ordered another bottle, great price and I've paid a lot off pennies for the best or supposed to be the best but this does the job at 3/4 the price lower .

I bought this scalp sunscreen for my dad, and it works great! He’s kinda balding, so his scalp is exposed to the sun, and this sunscreen didn’t leave any unpleasant smell or residue, which is a huge plus. Most importantly, it didn’t cause any burning or irritation to his sensitive scalp, even after a long day in the sun. Just a reminder that we need to apply sunscreen to all sun-exposed areas, and yes, that includes the scalp! If you’re looking for a good sunscreen for a bald or thinning scalp, this one’s a solid choice. Highly recommend it!

Ich habe sehr starke Locken und das Spray schützt die Haare sehr gut von der Sonne! Es stimmt zwar - wie in den anderen Rezensionen beschrieben - dass das Spray die Haare sehr fettig aussehen lässt, aber das ist normal. Das ist eben mal ein Sonnenschutz. Sonnencremes fetten auch die Haut. Das ist also absolut normal und man sollte sich ohnehin nach dem Sonnenbaden die Haare waschen ;-)
