I cranked the corner of the wooden building, with zero damage to my practice katana,but unfortunately a nice dent in my shed. The quality of these bokken are second to none. Comes with a cheap but effective stand to display it and a linen cover for traditional storage. The thickness of these polymer bokken give it a very similar weight to a real steel katana so when praticing you are training your muscles as well which is key to proper sword handling and control. The one piece design ensures no loosening of the grip thru use and the size of the bokken is the same as your average katana giving you a true training aid. the addition of a matching hard sheath gives you additional traing features as well. Highly recomended.

This is truly a great sword and very functional for training. The size is perfect and it feels like a true sword but a little heavier than a real katana, which is great for training purposes. It seems extremely durable and like it will last a long time. As far as the value for the money, I feel it's worth it and recommend it.

Well made, quality materials, nice balance for 'practice Katana'.' Unfortunately, one of the swords I ordered was missing the Tsuba (hand guard) a very inexpensive piece of plastic. No avenue to request a replacement, however; had to spend another 10 bucks to buy from another dealer and hope it fits.

I really like it. I got both the black and brown one. Yes it has some weight to them but it was expected. The grip on both of them are good. The brown one has the fabric which holds on well. Which the black one is molded in the handle. Worth the buy. Looks nice as well. All I’m missing is a soaring partner.

just arrived today and i must say its more than i expected, you get the sword, scabbard, hand guard (which needs to be put on) sword bag and a sword stand. sword is thick but sturdy, bigger than it looked in the pictures too..little flex to it. grip is pretty good too. i dont know how it will do against another training sword as i will be practicing alone but i believe it would def leave a mark if it accidently hit someone. scabbard has a glossy finish to it, very attractive. the sword stand isnt anything special, lil bit of wobble but does the job and the sword bag is a nice touch. i got this as im new to this and def dont want to practice with a real blade (really like having all my fingers and toes) the sword fits snug in the scabbard without the handguard on but once gaurd is on, it prevents a snug fit so it will very easily come out so keep that in mind.. perhaps a slight wrap of electrical tape would take up the slack, i will try it... but all in all this is a very sturdy practice sword and for the price, i cant find anything that needs improvement. highly recommend for anyone just beginning or even for the more expierienced. as long as you dont go wacking trees with it, you wont be disappointed

If you are looking for professional grade practice equipment, this boken is the truth! The length and weight are spot on, and the handling is incredible! The price point is perfect! And the feel is so comfortable! 10/10 have and will recommend to anyone interested in training.

My child loves it. Knows nothing about the heritage or culture but jumped on u-tube and watched videos all night on the subject. He is now in the yard practicing and working on his focus and forms. Weight is slightly heavier than my "real ones" but that is good for working on fine motor control. Seems good value for the cost and durability. Wish it came with a belt or a tami mat target but I'll scrounge something up for him to practice on. There are no sharp edges to it and the molding is beautifully done, so I am comfortable with him training with this.
