I am fairly new to crochet ( I tried many years ago and it didn't click), I decided to put my knitting needles down and try crochet once more. I bought a standard set of crochet hooks (metal in a case), I was happy with these but over the last couple of months I have had problems with my hands (arthritis) and decided I needed a set which sat better in my hands and so I spotted this set from LoveArtsCrafts. I must say I am very happy with the whole set. The case is blue with white spots and is very well made, within it you've got a pocket with a gauge/ruler, stitch markers, metal stitcher holders, some large plastic wool sewing needles, a row counter, a nice tape measure and a lovely pair of fold up scissors (they cut really well and feel nice in your hands). You get a good selection of hooks, which are very smooth and the hook itself is nice and deep so your yarn doesn't slip off. And most importantly the ergonomic silicone handles which are great, they sit well in your hands and feel great.I am really impressed with this set, it would make a great gift for anyone interested in crochet and the set is great for crafters who are struggling with either metal or wooden crochet hooks.

I'm a crochet beginner (learnt to chain in December). When I first learnt to chain and progressed to making a simple granny square, I used a hand me down plastic needle which was difficult to use, but I thought it was just me being incompetent as a beginner.I picked this set up recently, used the size 5 needle and it's made such a difference! My square looks so much better and my yarn isn't getting stuck on the needle constantly.The wallet everything is included in is great, nice handy zip up bit in the middle for the scissors, ruler etc. Perfect for me as I have a habit of losing things! It all looks good quality too.Also, the seller was really helpful and answered my question regarding what the needles are made out of. If you have a nickel allergy like myself, you can get this set as the needles are purely aluminium! =)All in all, I think this set is worth the price and would be a nice gift for any beginners out there.

Great product

I am so glad I bought this set! I had a plastic hook before and after a while of crocheting my wrist/hand would get a bit stiff. However, these ones are so comfortable to use and I never have any pain! The variety of sizes is great and the additional items have come in handy, and the colours look pretty. The size numbers are easily readable. Even the scissors are good quality. The hooks are easy to stick to the case and are securely in place. The little zip bag in the middle keeps all the other stuff in one place and is easily accessible. The case is very cute and handy to store everything and hide it away from my toddler. I am always excited to open it up. I am very pleased with the purchase and the price is amazing!

This is an excellent product with a good selection of crochet hooks from 2.25 - 6.0 with the newer style ergonomic handles. The sizes are difficult to read as they are simply pressed into the handles with no defining colour. That may be a problem for some.I found them very comfortable to hold and although I hadn't crochet for many years (mainly a knitter), I found them very easy to use.There were a few loose threads on the cover to trim off.There is a central mesh pocket for accessories which contains the usual large sewing needles, stitch counter and markers, tape measure, stitch holders and a wonderful pair of foldable scissors.I hope they last because I do like those!The sewing needles are plastic which I don't care for.There is also included in the pack, a ruler that doubles as a needle gauge measure; Which is actually useless for crochet hooks but will be useful for my knitting needles!All in a nice set with some reservations

These are great. I ordered them when I'd only just started crocheting having used a plastic hook that came in a kit. These are really comfy to hold and very easy to use. My speed has improved rapidly. The size is printed and embossed onto the handle so if the writing wears off you can still see the size of the hook. One of my hooks seemed to stick to the wool and so I rubbed it with some brasso and that sorted it. All the rest are super smooth and don't snag on, or stick to, the wool at all. The extras are great. The folding scissors are brilliant and the extra stich markers and holders are really useful.

Go on then, here is your five stars xThe case arrived and it certainly looks good. The truth is I would love to crochet. My81 year old mother has tried to teach me but she is very impatient and says I am a rubbish pupil. Clearly I can't do it yet because she is a rubbish teacher (although I love her to bits), she does not have the patience required.I have a lovely friend who lives about an hour away but due to being a homeschooling mum of two sets teenage twins, age 14 and 15, I have not yet found the time to go and see her for a lovely peaceful day of learning to crochet. I could try youtube but sitting in someone else's house with a nice cup of Earl Grey and my friends gentle voice, whilst learning to crochet is something I am looking forward to.I have painful arthritis myself in the base of my thumbs so the nice chunky handles on these crochet hooks look like they will be just the ticket.Normally I don't like anyone reviewing something they haven't actually used so please forgive me everyone, but the people I bought this from have promised that if I write a review they will yarn bomb a tree in my honour. And as I love trees, I kind of like this idea so here is my review.I would like to say I will update when I actually use these hooks but life is kind of crazy although I wouldn't change it for the world but just for the lovely colours of these hooks and the dotty cover, I would definitely recommend them.

Love the crotchet hooks n case keeps them all safe from being lost and the extra purse for crotchet pins tape measure and darning needles thank you I want another set for my granddaughter

Ich habe das Set einer Freundin zum Geburtstag geschenkt. Sie hatte gerade mit dem Häkeln angefangen und hat sich sehr über das Set gefreut. Jetzt nach ca. 3 Jahren ist sie immer noch sehr zufrieden mit dem Set. Keine der Häkelnadeln ist kaputtgegangen und sie findet sie liegen gut in der Hand. Die Hülle sieht auch immer noch sehr gut aus!

Great little crochet hook and accessories set for a beginner at a very affordable price. It provides you with everything needed to start your crochet adventure (apart from the yarn, of course). This set compares well with Boye hooks. However, I wouldn’t recommend this set if you are looking for super smooth hooks. They do work well though, and have a very comfortable grip. The case is also sturdy and well made. Love the little pocket inside that contains all the accessories. The zipper seems durable enough not to break. The fold-up scissors are handy, cuts well, but not my favourite (But again, it does the job). All-in-all, I would definitely recommend this set for beginners.
