Draper 68813 100 mm Oil Filter Strap Wrench

Brilliant tool, had no issues at all removing a very tight oil filter on my motorbike. Gives great grip

I've used a similar tool in the past for changing the oil filter on my car but as it was made of rubber, it snapped after about three years. That was annoying when I needed to use it to undo some plastic fittings under the sink. So, I ordered this and am pleased to say that this is made of very good materials. It is robust and the strap is solid yet grippy, so it definitely isn't going to perish in time, whilst still being very effective. I was able to loosen and tighten the fittings as needed and this did the job. I will use it next time I change the oil filter on my car too, with confidence.

Following some YouTube instructions, this was bought to help get a stuck drill bit out of a broken Dewalt keyless chuck. About three seconds after picking up the wrench the drill bit was out. All other efforts had failed. I used it again to speed up unscrewing the old chuck to fit a new one (see separate review). Worth the price if I never use the wrench again (I suspect I probably will ) Not sure about its longevity - the strap edge is already fraying.

Great tool. Strap is much tougher and grippier even than more expensive alternatives. Used to sighten a large plastic plumbing nut which was in a difficult to access location and perfect for the job.

Easy to use but the strap gave way in less than a month

Ordered to change the oil filter on my Ford Focus ST, MK3. Did the job perfectly, even with oil and dirt getting on the wrench. Did take a few goes, but I suspect that was down to me laying upside down on a drive, not actually on an adjustable garage ramp. Wouldn't have managed without this tool and definitely worth every penny. Hopefully don't have to use it again too soon, but should I need to, I'm sure it has plenty of life in it.

I always handtighten the oil filters on my car. Unfortunately, the oil filters is a bit tricky to reach and it is easy to damage other components when applying a lot of momentum to untighten it during an oil change. This tool actually made it really easy and simple to get into a tight space and untighten it with enough strength in a very gentle way. I did not experience any slipping from the leather band as well!

Très bon produit. Je m'en sert depuis 2 ans pour monter et démonter tous mes raccords de tuyauterie de piscine lors de l'hivernageet il m'écite bien d'abimer les raccords et surtout mes mains aussi. Très pratique aussi pour ouvrir des couvercles de pots en verres un peu résistants.

Es ist besonders in engen Räumen perfekt. Ich habe es zum Entfernen des Filters für meinen Ford Fiesta verwendet.
