Woodwards Gripe Water

Slightly on the pricey side for one bottle, but my daughter has colic so I didn’t want to waste time and ordered this for convenience

Didn’t use it much as baby didn’t like the taste of it. But was good to be able to purchase it to try it at least

Seemed to slightly ease my babies trapped wind but after a few uses my daughter started crying hysterically about 5 minutes after taking. This would be followed by burps and farts so it probably was working but she seemed upset so decided to stop. Plus you have to pour it away after 2 weeks use. Might be worth a try but wasn't suitable for my baby.

I've used Woodward's gripe water for both my children, starting when they were babies. I think it has a nice taste and warms your tummy as it goes down, I know this because I also get bad colic as I have IBS and this is truly the best thing I can take for it. I'd advise parents/carers to give this in-between meals, not straight after a feed/meals as it can bring their feed/food back up when they burp. I only wish they'd make smaller bottles because very often some gets wasted as it has to be used within two weeks.

Does not help babies. Think it’s just old school habit and maybe the alcohol helped ease tummy discomfort too but I tried using it several times and my baby was still uncomfortable.

It tastes weird as I try everything before giving to my baby. I would not recommend to any new mothers.
