I bought this to use at school for a substitute when I really needed to show a clip but couldn't leave my laptop in the room. After a few tries, the player showed the clip I had saved to a flash drive, which is exactly what I needed it to do. I did need to save the clip in a particular format; I tried several that wouldn't work. The buttons on the board itself work well to control the DVD player, so you don't need to keep finding the remote in the classroom or house. I also watched a DVD or two on it as I worked around the house, and it played them well, moving through the menu as I needed to do. The plastic does feel a little cheap. I have not yet tried to connect it to the Smart TV, but I'll update this review when I do. I am happy with the purchase!

Would not operate for 5 hours on a charge as advertised. Seller was good in refunding.

The advertisement for this player says it will play MP4 video. It will not. I have MP4 discs that play in my computer but when placed in the LDsign player a popup saying "initializing" and then says " unsupported format". It would play 3GP files but the video and audio are not in sync. The instruction manual is so small as to need a magnifying glass to read. Also it is a generic manual not specifically for this player. The things that do play a clean, crisp and clear. The audio is plenty loud. I didn't try any of the other features because the thing that I had bought it for didn't work.

Very nice - much better than the last portable DVD player I used. Great price point for a quality product.

I enjoy being able to watch DVD's while traveling. I works great, no too loud compared to some players. One thing I wasn't thrilled with is that the top doesn't lock in place and can easily move side to side. Other than that I highly recommend this player!

Purchased 2, 45 days ago and just used them for the second time. One will not hold a charge... and of course it’s past the return window. The other one seems fine. You get what you pay for with this one.

I love the look, I love the performance of it too

The design is nice but didn't like that the speaker is on the bottom instead of directly underneath the display. I was trying to use them in my vehicle and when turned around to fit in mount, the sound is not so great because it's covered up. Had to send back and order some other ones
