This bag is amazing.I'm new to crochet having just started in the summer. I have finally given up on using bags for life as wool storage and then trying to find where my hooks are. I decided to treat myself and buy this bag.As a guy who crochets there aren't a lot of options out there as the bags typically look feminine so it was refreshing to see a hard wearing canvas plain bag that was perfect for me. There is plenty of space inside, I manage to get 6 standard balls of wool in there and my project/s on top too.The handy storage pouch at the front gives easy access to crochet hooks, scissors etc. The feature I love the most has to be the two openings on top that allow the wool to feed through when working, keeping the wool from tangling around your feet or shooting across the floor as you grab more. It is different from other designs I've seen in that you can fit a full ball of wool through the opening of required. This is great because on other designs I have seen, once you feed your wool through the metal hole you have to keep your wool in the bag until you finish the ball. This particular bag allows you to move the wool with your project.Overall I'm thrilled and more than happy to carry this on my travels. Great item. At first I thought it was going to be too small, but it is like a mini tardis - very surprising how much you can fit in it. I do however have a few gripes with it. My main issue is the god awful smell that comes off it. It smells like one of those cheaply made plastic products. So much so that for the first two weeks I refused to put any wool in it, and instead febreezed it every day to neutralize the smell. This has gotten better and I now feel comfortable enough putting my wool and projects in it. If you are sensitive to smells be aware. My second grip is that the supplied carrier strap is cheap and nasty plastic and I think it will break, so I am using only the smaller carry handles.Overall though, for the price this is a good product and unless you can afford one of the more expensive branded items I would say give this one a shot.

......not a male thing for me to order a surprise Christmas present for my wife, so it took me a long time to decide whether this would be an appreciated gift and whether this would be the better one of its type to purchase.This item is well made and constructed and has earned me more brownie points than ever anticipated. Within ten minutes of the wrapping paper coming off my wife had crammed it with balls of wool, needles and other bits and bobs and proudly displayed it to any person interested !So in conclusion boys,... if your partner is in any way into knitting or crochet, then this is a very good present, not withstanding she may have a bag of sorts that is currently in use.She will appreciate the thought and the surprise, you will appreciate, the value for money, the build quality and the brief acknowledgement that you have done something right,for once in your life, on probably this one and only occasion !!

Absolutely love this bag holds loads of wool my hooks books pens you name it it holds it even can get all what I named plus my tab in there i like the fact ya would not going everywhere is got these wholesome at the top where you put your yarn and it dont roll about everywhere I'm happy with it

This arrived yesterday and is already stuffed full or yarn and in use. I had 3 bags of yarn and thought I might get only half in but this bag was like a TARDIS and everything just went in. I also managed to get my current project (blanket) on top as the zip and hood add a little more storage height. The pockets on the front are enough to get my hook pouch, small notebook, two pairs of scissor and I still have one small slot free. The slots have a good amount of space but aren't so flimsy that everything flies out. The bag seems to be very well made, I really have stuffed it full and there is no sign of seams protesting. Overall very pleased with this.

I bought this after my husband (almost ex!) accidentally threw out my latest project I was keeping in a carrier bag. This bag is well made and organises everything in one place. It looks cool, not like my granny’s knitting bag. There are pockets for needles, hooks, markers and other accessories. So much room that I could probably have a few projects on the go at once. It is great for cat proofing the ball of wool as you can push it through the top of the bag. My husband and I wish I had invested in this sooner!

A great bag and, for me, a godsend (I have two cats who love to play with wool, which isn't ideal when you're trying to knit with it). The bag has 3 small pockets for knitting needles and 2 larger ones for keeping patterns and other knitting paraphernalia in and will hold about 6 x 100g balls of wool plus, my personal favourite, you can knit AND, keep the wool you are using safely inside the closed bag. Just thread the wool up through one of the holes at each end of the slit in the top of the bag, (the edges are covered in a leather-like material, so no worries about wool splitting and ongoing work can be gently pushed through the slit when you want to put it away). The bag is lightweight with carry handles, making it easy to move from place to place. Brilliant. TOTALLY RECOMMEND

I have been looking for something like this for a while but found them always to expensive,also recently my daughters dog has chewed through two pairs of knitting needles both with knitting on , and the last one she actually chewed part of the project that I was working on at the time ,so this is perfect for storing all my wool ,needles,scissors and a long list of other bits and pieces.I have recommended this to others,it’s also bigger than I thought but actually perfect . Im so pleased with this firstly the price it’s size and how much you can fit into it . I can honestly say so far I have found no negatives,it’s absolutely brilliant and dog proof
