Enthusiastic amateur diy’erThis is a great little gauge, I bought it at the same time as treating myself to a woodturning lathe and although I was able to find Centres the ‘old fashioned’ way this does the job instantly and probably more accurately. I read a review before buying which criticised the quality of the plastic used and have to disagree, this gauge is made of quite robust plastic, ok I know it wouldn’t stand up to being stood on but easily takes general ‘knocks’ around the workshop

Good value.
This is a very simple but adequate centre locator. I find that it is more accurate to mark the workpiece in four directions, leaving a very small square in the centre which is probably due to the thickness of the marking implement, but a true indication of dead centre.

Helps make ur mark
Perfect for finding the centre on woodturning blanks to then star turning... For the price you can't go wrong and saves me time messing about with combination square to achieve the same result. I use this to find the centre then sling it back into drawer for next time.. I am satisfied with this cheap item

The item had been used and was scratched. It was not advertised as USED.
