Fantastic device, love it! Easy to use and good sound quality.
Years back I had a little Creative Stone mp3 player. I loved it and was sad when it finally gave up the ghost a couple of years ago. I had looked on and off for a replacement but nothing looked as neat and small as that little gem was. Until this - it's a tiny bit bigger than the Creative Stone was but still very small. Sound quality is great, batteries last for ages and it's easy to navigate through your files and folders (and it supports multiple levels of folders). I really love it, use it very frequently and would highly recommend.

Excellent value for money.
It is very neat and easy to use, although I have had some difficulty organising the playlist order. But it is easy to download items via the computer and great that it is also has a micro SD port. The battery life is excellent. The sound quality is adequate, but I find I have to turn the volume up for some of the things I have recorded. A bonus is the radio, which works much better than I expected.

Good value for a child but quiet and not v tough
Nice for a child as v good value compared to an iPod but not iTunes compatible and very quiet even at full volume - not great in a moving car. Doesn't seem v tough either - worth getting a neoprene case for travel.

Nice, compact
Nice, compact, light, cheap mp3 player that's quick and easy to use, with a big SD card capacity.Lost a star in the review due to irritating nannying rules. The volume is stupidly quiet on max, but you can turn it up to what you want (like a free world or something, it's mad) if you select "Rest of World" as a region instead of Europe.Took me a bit of swearing to work out, but hopefully I've saved you the bother.

Compact gem of an MP3 player
This is a great MP3 player for taking out and about. Its not much larger than a match box, but is easy to use, has a simple but effective display and with upgraded earphone a good sound. The battery life is superperb, as is the ability to expand the memory with a micro SD card. It has several other features beyond the player, including a radio that works. Very clever design from a highly respected brand.

Unecessarily complicated to the point of being unusable
At first it seems like a great device. Its pretty easy to navigate and works well. However it is really hard to get a playlist copied from your pc to the device. you cannot simply sync from media player. you have to convert the files then copy them into explorer. i have managed this once but i think that was beginners luck as no matter what i try now i can't get it to work. it is so complicated and the instructions given do not correspond to what is happening on my computer. it is so frustrating and i have wasted hours and hours trying to get it to work. If this isnt resolved soon i will buy a different one and just write off the £30. i dont know why they didnt make it so you couldd do a simple sync which is what media player is designed for.Incredibly frustrating.

A great vaule little mp3
A great little mp3 player that is easy to use. Very easy to navigate and load music onto (I used windows media player to do so). My only criticism is that even at full volume its not awfully loud (however, I must admit, I like my music VERY LOUD) but when I used different headphones with it, it did seem louder and better quality. Apart from that its a fantastic mp3. And I know they last well as I had one before that lasted me 8-9 years before it started to go.

Not for podcasts
I had an old Clip that I have used for falling asleep to podcasts for years, I would play the podcasts and when the podcasts in that section were all played the MP3 player would turn off. When it eventually gave up the ghost I replaced it with this model but this type works differently, the podcasts play round and round on a loop all night, disturbing sleep and running the battery down. There are settings in the menus but these are really limited and don't help.
