iPhone SE Screen Protector, Anker Xtreme Scratch Terminator Ultra-Clear Tempered-Glass Screen Protector for iPhone SE / iPhone 5S / iPhone 5C / iPhone 5 [Lifetime Warranty]

I am a fan of Anker items. I own various Anker tech and related products like screen protectors. The attention to detail and quality is first rate. I have never been disappointed with any of my purchases and that tradition has continued with this screen protector. It comes in a really nice protective case and has everything (and more!) anyone could ever need to fit it. Fitting was as simple as the comprehensive instructions said and it was bubble and dust free first time. The protector makes no appreciable difference to touch sensitivity or visual clarity. I have not (for obvious reasons!) tried out how tough it is.... Let's just rely on the Anker product testing for that. I really cannot praise Anker products highly enough. They may cost a little more than some of the cheap and nasty stuff out there, but they do the job exceptionally well.For reasons that are hopefully obvious, the home button becomes more recessed once the protector is attached. This does not prevent functionality of the button or touch ID. Anker do, however, provide both a silver and black adhesive button cover that can be used to get everything level again. Clearly this is not any use for the 5S with the touch ID, but for a non-touch ID phone it would be fine.

I wanted something to protect my new iPhone 5, "ok so I have a touch of OCD, or so I am told." I looked around and decided on the Anker Xtreme. What a good choice I made! The whole package was aimed at customer satisfaction, from the quality of the packaging and the packaging of each individual component. The instructions could have been easier to read, white on blue in a small font can be problematic to read, but good light made things easier. However both the components and the instructions are very easy to follow. Take your time and you are left with protection that will last. Thank you Anker..

I guess you only find out how good this sort of product is when you drop your phone.About 18 months ago, I bought one of these. I managed to drop my phone yesterday, and it landed almost flat on the screen, from about 1.5 metres, onto a ceramic tiled floor. The screen looked like it had been hit with a hammer - right on the bottom corner. There were cracks running across the screen and I had just about resigned myself to a trip to the Apple Store for a new phone - or at the very least, a new screen.When I got home, I started to peel off the screen protector. Underneath, the screen was undamaged. No cracks! On closer inspection, there is absolutely no damage to the phone at all from this incident.I immediately jumped onto Amazon, and got a replacement screen protector (same model) - thanks to Prime it arrived today and is now attached to the phone. My 5s has a new lease of life!I have a similar tale with an iPad protected with the same type of screen protector (I must be clumsy!). A few pounds spent (and forgotten about) has now twice saved me a new screen at £100 a time. I'm definitely quids in!Edited to add photo. Most of the cracks on the protector were from where I removed it. The bottom left hand corner too the bulk of the impact, and the crack running diagonally upwards from that corner was the only damage until I removed the protector. I could have kept the damaged protector on the phone but decided to change it.

I completely forgot to write this overdue review. The best screen protector I've everrrr had. It is thick yet the phone still works perfectly. It does really protect from falls and scratches. My phone fell numerous times, and I noticed "cracked line", wasn't sure if it was my phone screen also or just the protector. Took it off and guess what, the protector took the brunt and my phones screen was completely safe. No cracks or dents etc. Amazing!!! I would also like to add that the first time I was sent the Anker Glass Guard, it was easy to follow the instructions but one of the corners wouldn't go down even though I did exactly as instructed. I spoke to someone via e.ail. Sent a photo. They sent me another one for free and very quickly. The second was was great. No problem whatsoever. Great product, great customer service.

My prep was perfect. May as well have done it in a laboratory clean room. Display was clear, not even a speck of dust.What I didn’t factor in however was a very small piece of grit actually stuck to the underside of the protector itself once it was peeled off and ready to apply. How did that get there? Only explanation is poor QC during the manufacturing process.Tried to lift it up very gently as advised but it had already adhered (without pressure!) and would only make it worse. No luck with the squeegee card either.Disappointing to say the least as it’s looks great, basically invisible protection. But that one flaw, with a small bubble ring around it.

Bought 2 of these for a pair of 5s iPhones. They were well packed (I like their plain brown cardboard boxes), with the glass parts separate from the tools so that they don't break when you open the bag with the other bits for installation.Instructions were clear and installation went very smoothly. After cleaning the phone I placed the protector on the screen gently and aligned it, then let it down onto the screen and it pretty much stuck itself down with no air bubbles. Just pushed it down a little to be sure it was secure.Perfect. Top marks. The feel is great, smooth surface with gently chamfered edges and the clarity is excellent.As far as warranty is concerned, I would call their customer service people if anything went wrong. I have quite a few Anker products and have had no problems with any of them.I have no experience with breakage yet, so I don't know how well they perform there, but others here seem to say that they work.I would definitely buy these again.(This review is of products that I bought myself at full price - no freebies)
