Vollrath 10" High Temperature Silicone Spatula White

This is one of the best spatulas I've had the privilege of owning. A good spatula makes cooking more pleasurable for me, and the Vollrath 52010 handles like a dream. It gets the job done with ease. It's the perfect size,...not too big and not too small. -The beefy handle is the perfect length to gain precise control over the contents of a medium/large sized bowl. -There is a bit of weight/heft to the spatula which lends itself to feeling very comfortable in hand, easy to control. -It's extremely high quality. -The rubber in the scraper has just the right amount of flexibility. It is not flimsy nor too stiff like many inferior spatulas I have used. (or tried to use) -The handle appears tightly attached to the spatula head in such a way that it shouldn't be coming off. It actually looks sealed off it's so tight. Food shouldn't be creeping into the slot of the head where the post goes into it, as it has in 90% of the spatulas I have owned,..including Le Cruiset. The wood post got all gross and black where it went into the slot. The post actually started coming out of that slot when I was sometimes in the middle of a scraping task. - Washes beautifully in dishwasher. - No problem with high temps The price is very reasonable for what you get. ($7.90 today on Amazon) Extra points for being made in USA. (says made in Wisconsin on the handle) Recommended. Good simple tool that works well.

Excellent Product. Having worked in kitchens for multiple years as well as being a home cook, I’ve learned not all spatulas are equal. The Vollrath is a strong handled, damage resistant spatula that will not break or warp simply from a harsh wash. It is lightweight and well balanced and while easy to clean it will retain some stains(such as turmeric) that will tinge the rubber but not impact usability.

Been buying these for years, great non-stick and can be used in any pan. Doesn't melt or get damaged. Good heat resistance. Good ability to scrape all the food off with ease without scratching the pan. Easy to clean could hand wash with ease, but I throw mine in the dishwasher. Very sturdy, not heavy, very easy to use

It does seem silly to even spend more than a few moments of passing thought to consider the relative merits of rubber spatulas. Yet, here I am writing a review about one and here you are reading it. I spent most of my young life working in restaurants using commercial-grade equipment, including spatulas. Finding spatulas of comparable quality at the local Target has not been easy, most especially in terms of stiffness and heat resistance. Anyone who has ever found the taste of burnt plastic in their scrambled eggs because their spatula stayed in contact with the bottom of the skillet for too long knows what I am talking about on that last point. This is an excellent product, even if it is rather expensive. It is stiff without being rigid, clearly very well made and its heat resistance, at least to the extent that I have used it so far, is as advertised. Since these are the sorts of spatulas you can probably keep for years and years before they need to be replaced, spending the $9 and change per now seems a bit more reasonable. I am also very fond of the length of this specific spatula. It is often difficult to find one with a large head like this one that is not also 14-16" long. The 10" length of this one is pretty much perfect for most home uses. The only thing I would criticize are the two small pointed nubs near the top of the head of the spatula on each side. I'm sure they are there for a reason (perhaps to keep the spatulas from sticking together), but they are also two additional spots that can attract food debris (and bacteria) that need to be cleaned carefully if hand-washed. Still, this is a fairly minor quibble.

Very solid product that withstands the test of high temp cooking in which I needed to ensure in some dishes 😋 👌 😀

I have so many broken spatulas, plastic and wooden, rubber and silicone. I took this out of the packaging and tried to pull the blade off. Could not do it. I also tried to break the handle. I wasn't as sincere with that, I did not put it across the table edge and lean my weight on it or anything, but tried to put as much force as say digging in cold peanut butter. I also did not have my husband try to break it, which to be honest is how it will happen if it does. Then I washed it and used it. It works fine, as nicely as the old Rubbermaid spatulas I had when I was a kid. At this point I am completely satisfied.

Vollrath is the name to buy to use in a commercial kitchen. I have used plenty in the past but was sad when this one I bought only lasted 5 months before the handle cracked through the rubber head. This has never happened to me before with this brand so hopefully I just got a bad one. This is a great size and I will buy again--hopefully with better luck.

Finally had to replace this after probably 8+ years of use. Made sure to get the exact same thing again. Works great, heat resistant to cook with on the stove no problem, and a great size for most tasks. Get one, you'll love it!

Stop buying garbage from the housewife department stores. Buy once and never again. This is restaurant quality. Love it.
