Gentle but effective
Protexin Pro-Fibre has made a noticeable difference to my dog's digestion and overall wellbeing. We were struggling with inconsistent stools and occasional constipation, especially as my dog got older. After trying a few different dietary tweaks without much success, our vet recommended this product. I'm genuinely impressed with the results. The powder is easy to use and comes with a handy scoop. I just sprinkle it over my dog’s food once a day and mix it in. It doesn’t have a strong smell, and my dog hasn’t batted an eyelid at the change in taste or texture, which is saying something as she can be quite picky.Within about a week of consistent use, we saw firmer, more regular bowel movements. There’s less straining and no more skipping days. It seems to support both ends of the digestive issue spectrum — helpful for firming up loose stools and also for preventing sluggishness. I also noticed that her tummy seems less bloated and she’s more comfortable after meals. What I really appreciate is that this supplement contains not just fibre but probiotics too. It feels like a more complete approach to gut health rather than just bulking up stool. The inclusion of probiotics like Enterococcus faecium makes a real difference in keeping the gut flora balanced, which is especially important after antibiotics or digestive upsets. The tub lasts a long time even with daily use, especially for smaller dogs. It’s good value considering how effective it is and how much of a difference it can make to your pet’s quality of life. It’s also reassuring to use something that’s recommended by vets and manufactured by a trusted brand. If your dog suffers from digestive issues, constipation, or loose stools, or you just want to support a healthy gut as they age, I would definitely recommend giving this a try. It’s gentle, well tolerated, and does exactly what it promises. A staple in our pet care routine now.

Brilliant tip from our vet
Our dog was having so many issues. We couldn’t pick up her poops as they were just gross. Her food is great for her and many suggested it was an allergy. A new vet joined the surgery and suggested we try this before paying out for tests and within a few days she was perkier and having healthy bowel movements. No more washing down the streets as we go. I don’t often say something is excellent as it’s all subjective but this has been a game changer. No more squish and gagging. No more dealing with anal glands. Just a healthy dog. Highly recommend if your vet suggests it. It is expensive and I wish they had deals or sales but fact is it works and works really well.

Highly recommended for Frenchies
This works really well for my Frenchie. It appears to have helped slightly with the itching and most especially the flatulence.

Works well
Definitely helps when my dogs stools are a bit on the loose side. He seems happy with the flavour and price is good.

Definitely working for my Spaniel
Just followed the instructions and within just a few days my Spaniel is already much improved, no more dodgy tummy may it continue to work. The pellets are small and have very little smell, I just add a scoop full to his dinner without problem.

Doesn't really work for anal gland issues
My pugapom has a problem with a "leaking" anal gland, so there were horrible smells 2 or 3 times a day at its worse. Vet recommended increasing fibre. We bought this to see if it worked any where as well as our usual brand- Glandex, sadly it didn't -he's been on this for almost 3 weeks and while his poops are nice & firm (🥴), the fishy smells have started again, so trying something else.So it depends what you use it for, but no good for my dog
