Love this product and paying a little extra for the brand means that you can rely on it, meaning adequate value for money. I have never had an installation fail so hook quality is high as is its stickiness. Storage capacity wise, be sure to follow weight and material instructions, but I have had no issues. These are so easy to use, and equally easy to remove with the right technique following instructions.

Work when others fail. Removal does take paint off if not careful.

We've had a lot of success with Command Strips. holding picture frames and hooks of all weights. They work brilliantly and, most importantly, typically don't leave a mark on the wall upon removal. However, we're finding they appear to have a lifespan of around 5 years. We've unfortunately had several picture frames fall and a hook come loose after the adhesive started to fail around that mark. While we've switched to pins for our many frames, we've chosen to replace the Command Strip on the hook. I would still highly recommend Command Strips if you have just a few items to hang – they are fantastic. Just be mindful that the adhesive may need replacing after approximately 5 years.

I have a couple of command hooks in the bathroom which eventually over the course of several months will come away from the tiles. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the hook, all I needed was a new adhesive pad, so now my hook is happily back in the shower room. I stuck with buying the 3M as I've been disappointed by the quality and adhesive properties of cheaper alternatives.

Used to hold up A2 card with photos and text for a display. Easy to use and came off without damage. Needed the big pack size.

Bought these to put up Christmas decorations on a painted wall, and nothing has fallen down. It remains to be seen if they come off cleanly, though I have used these before and taken them down before without taking the paint off the wall. One thing to be aware of is that the glue on these does dry out in storage, especially on the wall side of the adhesive pad. I had some that were 6 months old in the original unopened packaging that I thought would still be OK, but not so. I will be keeping my extras in an airtight jar this time to see if that makes any difference.

The Command product range became known to me more than 15 years ago and have since dramatically improved. It is only recently that 3M have offered replacement strips as a separate range in their own right which allows the main product range to be reused almost indefinitely and much longer for the metal ones. This is the largest size that 3M offer and also the most common type. There is also a clear version and a water-resistant version which each have their own advantages. In all the years that I have used them, I have never experienced one of the strips to fail provided the simple instructions are followed. Pure isopropyl alcohol works very well but so does petrol-based lighter fuel (Ronsonol and others) for cleaning most surfaces if used with care and allowed to dry. I have used them on painted and unpainted wood, glass, smooth ceramic tiles and metal at various times. They can be used on wallpapered surfaces provided that the surface is also smooth and not textured. Worthwhile to have available as 3M appear to be reducing the number of provided spares with most products to either one or none.

Da die dort beigelegten Montagestreifen verbraucht waren, haben wir hier diese Nachfüllpackung bestellt. Der Kranz wiegt 1100g und hält "Wind und Wetter" stand. Wir sind damit sehr zufrieden.

I hag a hard time finding Command replacement strips locally so I went on Amazon and was very happy to see that they had them. The replacement strips are easy to use and stick very well. The hold is great, and they can be used on a variety of surfaces. The value for the money was good. I would recommend the Command Strips to everyone.
