Shortish trial jar may not fit your hydrometer
I was hoping to use it with my hydrometer but it's too short as other reviews point out but you'll know this since you are reading the reviews before ordering it unlike me. It will come in handy anyway.

Great Trial jar
This glass hydrometer trial jar is the right size, however the stand is quite small so be careful it doesn't knock over. Also there is no marked scale on the side, but for beer making this is no great loss.

ok but as one review said its to opaque but ...
ok but as one review said its to opaque but now I have just found it is not big enough to measure down to 950 on my hydrometer. So when I did a wine to an initial reading of 1095 I now cannot measure the exact alc content because the reading is lower than 950
