Works Brilliantly
Cutting a hole in a tile is both expensive and fraught with problems. I've been renovating houses for a million years it seems and used just about every tool invented. Right now I'm half way through a bathroom build and had to cut a number of holes in floor tiles which I did using diamond hole cutters. The problem is that one of the holes was about 1mm too small which is a real problem because I would have had to go up to a significantly larger hole cutter to enlarge the hole without making a wandering mess of the job.So I decided to enlarge the hole a small amount using my Dremmel. Now, in the blurb it says that this tool is not for use on floor tiles and I can see that it's a reasonably small bit that's not going to take a 14 stone geezer leaning on it. However, using a lighter touch and regularly dipping it into cold water to ensure the tool did not overheat I managed to enlarge the original cut through a 10mm tile to the correct size. Okay, it took me about 20 minutes, but it did leave me with a proper job.At the end of the work the bit was still sharp and un-damaged, so as long as you don't abuse this tool and keep it cool it works a treat.

Works well - recommended for the job it is designed for
Works very effectively. I used several of these earlier this year to fix a botched tiling job I had inherited (someone had fitted tiles so close together in a shower cubicle there was no room for effective grouting and so water was running between the gaps). The Dremel tile bit allowed me to shave the edges between a large block of tiles while they were still cemented in place. I have also used it effectively for shaping tiles for fitting around pipes & other fittings. Only reason for 4* rather than 5* is that if you are doing a lot of cutting you can get through the bits quite quickly and that can become expensive.(Note - I found I could extend the 'shelf-life' by cutting off the tip when it becomes blunt (I used a diamond cutter) BUT [very strong health warning!] I am certain that is not recommended by the manufacturer and, if doing so, make sure to wear suitable goggles/face-protection as these are very hard & sharp bits of metal).

I used these to get into tight corners
I used these to get into tight corners for regrouting after doing most of the work with my multitool

Cutting bit
Used this to trim tiles on the wall to enable sockets with usb chargers to be fitted. It’s like a rotary file and worked a treat in drill to trim ceramic tiles.

Great Accessory
Bought #562 to enlarge a hole in a tile for a radiator pipe to move, as the new Radiator had slightly different connection dimensions. I had to be careful not to damage the copper pipe but it all worked out well. The glazed surface of the tile did not chip, it was effectively ground away. The main thickness of the tile was easily removed. Will fill the remaining gap with grout and paint black - hey presto. I have tried to add my first review photo for clarity - hope it attaches.

Good for wood carving
I bought this not for its intended purpose, i bought it for wood carving, and its a brilliant little burr to have in your arsenal, it cuts deep and enhances your carvings by adding a shadow behind it. Definitely recommend for this use =)

Nice little tool that does what it advertises.
Like many Dremel tools it is hard to store safely, so I have designed a set of storage tubes that can be stored in a modified plastic case the tube is 20mm diameter conduit tubing with a perspex diusc blocking one end and the thread of a pepsi bottle glued to the other end I made one for each of my Dremel bits.

Might work on thin tiles, but definitely not on wall tiles
Might work on thin tiles, but definitely not on wall tiles ... only made a small indent on my bathroom wall tiles. So for my purpose... useless

Funktioniert beim Fliesenschneiden, aber auf Kühlung achten
habe Ausschnitte in Wandfliesen gemacht. Hat soweit auch funktioniert wenn man den Fräser zwischendurch mit Wasser kühlt.

Does a good job
It's a bit pricey but it cut through my tile wall easily. I used it to install an electric outlet in a bathroom wall and it cut easily and was easy to control.
