Tiny and solid power supply - good purchase.
First, thank you to Dangleberry music for the prompt delivery of the power supply. I also appreciated the follow up messages and additional advice, cheers!I bought this power supply as an addition to a more expensive one I own (Carl Martin Power Pro - at over £100), to power more pedals (a guitarists heaven!)... and to serve as a backup in case anything happened to the other one playing live. To be fair I am really impressed with it, it powers the pedals just fine with no real audible noise (tried it though a Yamaha THR10, and a Fender Bassbreaker 18/30 - though not tested at serious volume... though I will test this out soon). The unit itself is amazingly tiny (solid metal casing too), and the supplied cables slot in reassuringly - just great for the money paid. I have used it for around 5 hours so far, with no power issues. I have also tried using it with an extension cable, and this works fine too.The only drawback would be the power supply, which is short and uses a similar jack to the power cables (so wouldn't stand any heavy impact, like stamping on the lead onstage, or pulling it around a board - the plug itself is also lightweight and I wouldn't want to accidentally step on it) - though I guess this aids the tiny design and significantly brings down the cost. This wouldn't deter me from using it live, but I would need to put an extension cable on the board and plug the unit into that (and ensure it was away from any foot stomping); not a difficult, or costly task, but something to bear in mind when preparing your board. The more expensive power supply I have uses a much more rugged power cable, that is longer and far more durable... but for home/jam/studio use, the Nordell would be fine with the power supply it has.Comparing the Nordell to a more expensive power supply, I did't find any radical difference of quality issues in terms of performance or sound (I have used a variety of pedals through both) - both also worked together to power 13 pedals, and the sound quality was great out of the amp... the more expensive power supply just seems to be better built out of the box to be used in more demanding situations (live play, lots of transit), so it is worth keeping in mind that you would need to protect the Nordell if you intended to do use it similarly... but for home or studio use, it is great for the money.

Excellent value for money.
Excellent value for money. Perfect for most regular compact effect pedals, both analog and digital. This thing is happily powering everything on my board with the exception of the DMM - it has its own 24v supply.Runs silently and I am very happy with my purchase.Very lightweight construction but very stylishly designed. Quite an attractive item and comes with all necessary cables and a couple of spare adapters should you need them.I would strongly urge anyone considering purchasing any power supply that they know how much current each of their pedals draw. 7 of the 8 9 volt inputs on this unit are limited to 100ma. This may not be enough for some digital pedals or pedals with multiple features. My Boss DD6 and RV6 draw 55ma and 65ma. They're easily the most power hungry pedals I have and operate just fine with this power supply.Pedals needing over 100ma will most likely struggle or perform unreliably. If, like me, your board is comprised of standard Boss, Ibanez, MXR etc, this supply is ideal, cost effective and I would happily recommend it.

Great value, looks good better than a daisy chain
Bedroom and church guitarist with the odd gig from time to time. Its so important to have a good power supply.I have got fed up with daisy chain power packs , they are messy and they would not last too long before breaking. What do I love about this ?Very small and compact , looks great especially with the lights on , but most of all very easy to set up, it works straight from the box , no noise that I could hear with 5 pedals plugged in (mix of Boss, Tech 21 and Danelectro) and connections fit tight unlike all previous daisy chains I owned with wires coming out with the slightest knock.I personally think it’s a good buy for those running a handful of pedals and just wanting reliable power. For £30 you cannot go wrong , I have spent more than that on daisy chains and batteries over the years and should have done this a long time ago .

FUNCTIONAL GOOD VALUE
Installed in my Home made board to power boss tuner, mini cry baby, keeley workstation, keeley Monterey, and a cheapo analogue delay ped. All works well With minimal fuss. No extra hum or noise issues that I can detect. Very small but sturdy design is ideal for saving space. Supplied leads work great. For this sort of money.... what’s not to like ??? Would buy again .

Great value power brick.
Great bit of kit.I use it to power 2 boss pedals,2 vick audio pedals,a wampler plexi drive and a mooer small pedal.Very quiet and I like the options for higher voltages. This fits perfectly under my pedal train metro 16 using cable ties provided. It also came with Velcro for attaching the pedals and all necessary cables.I've had it a few weeks now and it works perfectly.I should note the construction seems very solid.Considering this costs less than half of what the nearest competition charges,I see it as a no brainier. The lights are a really nice touch, but obviously under the board they aren't really seen,so I don't use them.Only criticism is that I bought cable ties and Velcro separately, because the fact they are included wasn't in the description.I'd definitely recommend this product.

Value for money
This is a decent little unit. If you're wondering why it costs considerably less than other brands like Voodoo Labs or MXR I think the answer is due to the fact that this isn't really made for extensive live use. I use it at home and it works well, no problems. It is well made but I think if it was getting thrown in and out of a case every night and kicked around a stage it might not last too long. I would buy it again if it got nicked etc.

Compact but effective
The power supply is as described. It is very compact, quiet and fits neatly under my pedal board. It has ample outputs which cater for a range of needs. It seems robust and up to the needs of a gigging musician.
