If you are B deficient, suffer from neuropathy, or have metabolic issues, this product was recommended to us by a neurologist, and is incredibly effective! Nothing drives my B intake to the right levels, like this. It is easy to absorb, especially for anyone who has had gastric-related procedures and now struggles with absorption. My only note is you should not take this within hours of any appointment in which your B vitamin counts will be taken, because this is absorbed so quickly, it will cause a faux spike in your B numbers. I have taken this the day before and my numbers have been great. This is also a fantastic item to take with any B gummy that is not methylated, as it gives it an extra absorption kick!! Great product!

I have posted numerous positive reviews of different Seeking Health supplements because they are one of the few brands that I can always tolerate and from a professional and objective view, when I’m using their supplements, my lab tests tend to normalize. I suffer from 2 devastating chronic diseases that should have killed me years ago, but because of my medical degree with additional education in naturopathic and homeopathic medicine, I knew what to look for in a combination supplement and how to tell if a product maintains good manufacturing processes (GMP), which a lot of brands claim to follow, but since the FDA does not regulate or monitor the supplement industry, it’s up to the consumer to do their homework (which can be daunting and frustrating considering the 1000s of supplements brands).This product is excellent for people who suffer from chronic inflammation (usually due to excessive histamines in the body), and the B vitamins (especially B6) plus TMG help the body break down the histamines and assist the liver with clearing out the byproducts. I suffer from severe chronic pain and inflammation, caused by a variety of disease processes, but this product definitely helps with the inflammation, especially with digestive and gut problems. I only gave it 4 stars for pain relief, only because my disease states are so severe that I require several types of treatments, but I definitely feel a difference when I’m not taking this product.I also suggest using their probiotics product ProBiota HistaminX, Liposomal Vitamin C, Multivitamins and essential minerals products. They are all made from high quality ingredients (especially high quality chelations), are combined with the appropriate and necessary cofactors, which will save you the time and frustration of doing years of research like I had to.

I started taking this supplement when my homocysteine blood labs came back alarmingly high (17.2). After a six-month retest, my levels tested in the normal range (7.9). I also cut down on my coffee/cappuccino consumption and would recommend not testing after drinking coffee because that can elevate levels for at least 2 hours after drinking. I am convinced this product works well and will continue taking it. I will note that my vitamin B12 came back extremely elevated but apparently this is not a huge cause for concern.

Works amazingly well for my needs. Doctor checked my homocysteine levels and recommended this for me due to the results of my test. I am literally a new person. More energy and more stamina. Instead of needing 9 to 10 hours of sleep per night, I am alert and able to accomplish much more on 7 hours of sleep than I could on 10.

This is an excellent product for those of us with MTHFR C677T mutations. It's got everything you need all in one pill, but I'm not sure how well the b12 gets absorbed since it's in your stomach and not sublingual.I sadly have to discontinue taking this and I wish I could pinpoint exactly what ingredient is causing the problem. After reading an article Dr. Ben (the creator of the Seeking Health line and quite an expert on MTHFR topics) about not needing to take methylfolate every single day, I decided to skip a day of Homocystex to see how I'd feel as I'd gotten into that feeling continuously bad slump after feeling good for the first few weeks of treatment.First of all, I felt pretty good that day. Second of all, my weird, flaking dry skin and horrible nonstop dandruff started to disappear immediately! When I started treatment for MTHFR with individual bottles of each supplement I was told I needed, this skin problem cleared up right away. But it eventually came back and I could never figure out what caused the relapse, until I discontinued Homocystex Plus.I have been off of it for 3 days now and this is the first time in many, many months that I finally don't have plumes of dead skin coming out of my clothes when I take them off (skin snowing, is what I called it).It must be something in the Homocystex Plus formula, whether that's an active or inactive ingredient, I don't know. Or, maybe it's not ENOUGH of a particular ingredient, like perhaps I need more B6 than it offers. I'm not sure.Now that I am off of Homocystex Plus, I am back to having nice skin everywhere but around my mouth, which coincidentally got cleared up while I was taking Homocystex Plus! It sort of resembles pellagra and sometimes clears up with niacin, but I have no other symptoms of the disease and I don't know why Homocystex Plus could clear this up if it has no niacin in it.I'm all around confused! I loved the product for the benefits of MTHFR it gave me, but the dry skin that had no solution and no clear cause was making me so depressed, and I'm not willing to return to that. Homocystex Plus seemed to also regulate my electrolytes somehow as now I need sea salt during the day and I'm uriniating much more than usual! My heart rate is also more irregular off of Homocystex Plus, which is a bit disconcerting.So now I'm taking all the supplements that are included in Homocystex Plus (besides methy b12, it makes me shaky so I take adenosylcobalamin/dibencozide coenzyme), just from different companies and in slightly different amounts.Hopefully Dr. Ben or someone from Seeking Health will read this and have some insight into why my skin acts up on Homocystex Plus and why I get the dryness around my lips when I discontinue it.I do recommend this product for others, it's a nice blend of B vitamins, particularly if you have MTHFR issues. It's just not for me right now, sadly.
