Very useful
My reason for buying this thing was not the wind noise, but that the wind flow inside the helmet bothered my eyes. It eliminates this problem, so the product does its job well in my case. Of course the side effect of this is reduced wind noise as well, but that didn't bother me too much in the first place. (Side note: Have you tried riding with earplugs? - It's quite cool.) Overall, it feels much cosier inside the helmet with the Windjammer on. It's at the higher speeds, over 50-60 Mph, where it's effect can be felt. Thus, I would say it's the most useful on longer distances, on the open road or motorway. The fogging of the visor can be a problem, especially in low temperatures and in town where you need to cruise at low speeds. I have just bought it now, at the end of October, and temperatures have been between 5-10 °C since then. Basically the fogging of the visor was so bad that it seriously impaired comfort and safety. The solution was getting a Pinlock fog free insert for my helmet, which I did, and it resolved the issue. You will still need to open your visor one notch when travelling at or below 30 mph, but above that it's ok. I'm yet to see what it will be like when it's close to 0 °C.Quality-wise it's good. The part that attaches to the helmet is made of an elastic material with sticky gum-like surface on the inside. As you put it on and it tightens on the bottom rim of the helmet, it stays there firmly. The bottom part of the Windjammer, which goes around your neck, is made of some elastic material too. It's more firm and thicker than ordinary cloth fabric, but not too thick or rigid. Note that if you have a large head and use a large helmet, you can find the hole too small when squeezing your head through it. After reshaping it with a scissor, and after a few attempts to fine-tune my technique, I can put my helmet on and take it off again with no trouble.Obviously the tendency for fogging in the cold is a trade-off, but otherwise it's a good buy. Depends what you want, if you want to reduce airflow inside the helmet, it works well.

Does the job!
Takes a bit of time fitting and my helmet has the built in head set controls which you have to cut a small bit out to give access to the control unit!Made a massive difference to wind noise and eliminates the need for ear plugs !Good price and well made !

Windjammer 2
Open trying to remove or reduce wind noise in my helmet for a very long time and I finally succeeded in reducing the wind noise significantly by buying the wind jammer 2. It's so much nicer now to ride my bike without the wind screaming in my ears so I can't even hear myself think or talk. With this wind jammer 2 I I have peace and quiet and it's so nice to ride the bike without wind noise. I can assure you it doesn't eliminate it totally because you'd have to seal your visor to totally reduce the wind noise, but if you want to reduce wind noise by this product I highly recommend it.

Joke of a product
This product shown in the photos is NOT what you aren't sent. I've been given tiny strips of VELCRO to wrap around the helmet so I can stick this on.1. The actual product isn't flexible so you can't even fit your head through it when putting the helmet on. I'm an XS head so that's a joke.2. been sent tiny velcro strips instead of the peel off product. So false advertising.3. Smells rank, like mouldy cheese mixed with old bath water.4. Doesn't reduce wind noise and even the velcro isn't sticky.Don't buy this product, for for an actual good branded one or wear a snood.Low quality, not comfortable, bad value for money, doesn't do the job it's supposed to. Not cool.I didn't order velcro. What a WASTE.

Kinda of works , but the pain of putting it on is not worth it
I have 2 ear piercings, a double helix and my lobes, this WindJammer tires and makes this not the case.I have tried putting a snood over my ears, and this still does not help - The wind jammer is so incredibly tight to get on, as expected, but the material it is made out of has almost no give after stretching it over the helmet.one plus/con is the adhesive is incredibly strong! This was a pain to get off the helmet.I used this once for a long journey, and it does work if you also wear some great earplugs, but this is not worth the utter pain ...my ears hurt :(

Part of wind reduction system.
I have been using this now for a while and completely love it. I ride in all weather to and from work and so really wanted something to help make the commute more comfortable. This fits very easily onto the helmet and once on is very secure, no amount of putting your head in/out is going to make this come loose. Overall it performs very well and does a massive amount to not only reduce wind noise, but also prevent air blasting into your face/eyes (My helmet didn't come with a chin guard). In bad weather you do get a lot more condensation on the inside but I also use a 'foggy' mask which helps prevent most build up, just need to get a new visor with pinlock fitted which should completely prevent condensation even in heavy rain. Surprisingly the vents at the front work really well, ensuring that you continue to get nice fresh (or as fresh as can be if your in traffic) air into the helmet no matter the weather. In terms of the noise reduction, yes absolutely it does reduce noise significantly ... but I still wouldn't solely rely on this. For sake of curiosity I did do some testing with just this, rather than the constant barrage of wind you get a lower 'boom' so I continue to use ear-plugs and it's just perfect. As a product it is very well made and I am a happy customer who will be using this on all my helmets from now on.
