Accuracy
Useful little exposure meter. Accurate, uncomplicated and good value for money. It takes up very little space and is well worth having jn the bag

Ideal for beginners
I bought this when I went back to using a vintage camera and I wanted something relatively simple to go with it. The Twinmate is just that - It takes readings and gives camera settings without any special functions. It does need a battery, which wasn't obvious from the advert, but the type is a common one. It is made of fairly light plastic, so I would recommend taking care not to knock it too hard. It has an accessory shoe mount which is easy to set up - this turned out to be well worthwhile, because the camera's viewfinder then allows readings to be directed fairly precisely. The range covers from bright sunlight to near dusk and the readings appear to be accurate - I have since checked them against other meters and (more tellingly) photographs taken in some very odd light conditions have come out surprisingly well. If you are looking for a reasonably priced basic meter, this is a good starter for ten.

Sekonic Twinmate
Although made of plastic the unit has a positive 'feel' about it. It is simple to use and produces exactly the same readings for reflected light as my Canon 5D2. Certainly recommended for anyone taking steps back to old film cameras.

Good little light meter
Don't let the tiny size of this light meter put you off. It's very quick and easy to use and very accurate. Has the added advantage that you can slip it in your pocket, so no fuss carrying it around.

Tiny but gives very accurate readings
Very accurate, easy to use, the negatives come out perfectly. I’ve only used it for incident readings so far, so can’t comment on how well it works with reflected readings. The plastic housing does however seem a bit at the price.

Not Accurate
Bought one it could not even tell if the battery was good or bad returned it no problem and got a replacement. Had the second a while before using same with an old analogue camera and basically readings were off by a mile when compared with an accurate Minolta x700 and a Sony digital camera. Contacted seller no help from him basically said they are reliable and yet I returned my first one broken. Long story short I should have checked it in detail straight away. Instead I delayed now down the road difficulty in exchanging it. So stuck with a Useless meter. Unless SEKONIC want to help me out. If that happens I shall keep you updated.

Pocketable Light Meter
Excellent product from Sekonic. It is highly accurate, when compared to my DSLR, but very small in size. Easy to put into a pocket when using my old non-metered film cameras.

Easy to navigate exposure values.
I initially made the purchase based upon my experience using a friend's Sekonic . We both collect and use vintage cameras, as was originally intended. The Sekonic works well with these ancient instruments. Most are devoid of any form of metering. This extremely invaluable light meter is something to turn to for accuracy and peace of mind. Easy to master and read. Very light. Comes with a useful lanyard and soft pouch. Highly recommended.
