Ryobi R18B-0 18V ONE+ Cordless Buffer (Body Only)

My dislike was the box was battered but it works well and the looks good. We had brought a battery a while ago so that's why we got this. It very easy to work and it's has good speed. Good price and most of all I could use it.

If you have Ryobi batteries already this is a great little machine! After cleaning car with Williams waterless wash I used the Ryobi buffer to do a final polish to liven up the paint work on my car! The tool itself us very easy to use and pretty light to hold and did a fantastic job in a very short space of time! I found it didn't need a lot of pressure at all just let the weight of machine do the job at hand! It does all the large areas with ease but you will need to still use a define chamois cloth around bumpers and tricky area's!

Works well for applying and buffing polish. 10inch pad with offset rotation makes Iight work of large surfaces resulting in a great shine. My approach to polishing a mid sized SUV used 75% of 2.5ah battery. Supplied without a battery so bit expensive if you are buying both.

I used this today to put the polish on my T roc, which I wiped of most of before using the buffer to finish of, then did the same with the polish which I buffed up to a deep shine, easy to use, it never stalled on me even with pressure. The bonnets are a bit fiddly at first but got easier with use, also could of probably done the whole car with one 4ah battery but was down to one bar and slowing down, only used 1 bar on second battery, I spent more than 4 hrs doing the car. I'm pleased I brought this and not an electric one as its very easy to use.

Easy to use especially with a 1.5ah battery as its not to heavy have used on the 4 times now on 2 cars and can see a better shine even when using waterless wash and wax, a lot quicker cleaning and polishing the wife's 7 seater.Can be a bit awkward getting the pads on and off just take your time and make sure there on correctly

Does the job I bought it for , to polish the slab sides on a Motorhome , with no curves of edges as such with the potential to rub through the paint. Only negative I’ve experienced is that getting the cloths over the buffer pad is not the easiest thing I’ve done but with a bit of perseverance they git on . Using a 5ah battery with it seems to give us about 2 hours use

I have quite a few of Ryobi's one + tools so decided to add this to my collection. It has a fixed speed motor which is quite slow although the unit does oscillate which is important for a car polisher. The biggest drawback are the terry cloth and wool bonnets that come with the polisher which are virtually impossible to get on and are very poorly manufactured - the terry cloth one that came with mine was already torn so is useless and the wool one is too small to get over the foam pad. Luckily I purchased a pack of after market bonnets with mine that actually fit much better than the originals supplied with the unit. Time will tell if the foam pad softens up a bit to enable me to use the original wool bonnet. The unit itself fits nicely in the hands with soft grip handles and the fact that there is no cable getting in the way is the biggest plus. A bit pricey for what it is, ok but not great, wouldn't buy another.
