Great tin
Used to create a two level, magnetic makup case. It's fairly sturdy, and has worked great so far.

Lovely tin.
This is a really lovely tin for my colouring pencils, sturdy and strong, bigger than I expected and very good quality. It has two sections so plenty of room for a sharpener and eraser etc. I love tins and this one has Derwent imprinted on the lid which is nice. Very happy with my purchase. Many thanks.

Derwent pencil tin
This is a good size pencil tin. It is in fact 19.5 x 9.8 x 3cm (external dimension) and not what Amazon described! The inside dimensions are 18.6 x 9 x 2.2cm for the main compartment and 18.5 x 8.7 x 1.3cm for the tray. But I still find the size a little larger than expected. It is made from thin metal which can dent easily but it does its job and provides good protection for your pencils or pens. On the top of the lid is a smart embossed logo of Derwent. The lid is hinged and shuts securely, but does not open flat.Inside there is a removable tray that holds the similar capacity as the main compartment. If you want to store lots of pencils/pens, bulky markers or even an eraser or two then taking away the tray will give a little extra room.To give you an idea of capacity I've managed to store 10 pens on the top tray and 8 pens on the bottom tray. The pens are a variety of fine liners from different brands (Sakura, Rotring, Pilot etc) and does depend on the cap design as this will add bulk.It does hold 24 standard 8mm colouring pencils stored flat (spread between the main compartment and tray) which is great.Overall this is a neat little tin and handy for any bag or desk.

Great tin case and very versatile
Great tin case. I didn’t use it for storing and carrying pencils so I don’t know how good it is to keep your pencils in this tin case, but the tin case itself is of great quality and offers plenty of space with its partition. I’ve used it to store eyeshadows, blush and bronzers, turning it into a makeup palette, so I guess it’s also very versatile. Would recommend it to friends and purchase it again.

Perfect size
I’ve swapped around on my pencil journey, having a large tin with everything and the kitchen sink, pairing it down to a narrow tin, that just wasn’t quite big enough, and then I saw this. It’s not cheap for a tin but the extra tin shelf inside is genius. I can now get all I want inside and close the lid. It lies flat if you want it to. I pop the shelf in the lid and can then get to everything. Brilliant! Love it.

I am able to comfortably fit a Derwent water pen
I own two of these now.One holds all of my sketching pencils, mechanical pencils and other tools. I am able to comfortably fit a Derwent water pen, Derwent eraser pen, 2 mechanical pencils, 1 gel ink pen and 1 ink fine-liner pen, as well as a small eraser, eraser shield and a little container of refill leads for my mechanical pen in the top tray, whereas the bottom tray holds 2 blending tools, french curve, 9 pencils, small sharpener and a blending stump. So as you can see - this thing can hold quite a lot of things, while also ensuring they are safe and secure while you have it in your bag.In the other one I keep some of my most used coloring pencils - the bottom tray holds around 9-12 pencils, as I also keep more Derwent water pens, as well as some actual brushes laid diagonally across the watercolor pencils. The top tray holds some shorter brushes, as well as sponges and regular color pencils.I definitely recommend these. As they do ensure everything is well protected and organised.

A useful tin for colouring pencils
I really like this practical box, it easily contains 36 pencils (16 in the bottom & 22 in the tray). I really like the tray as it enables easier organisation. It's not too expensive, but I'm disappointed at how easily the tin gets dented and scratched.

Just what I needed
I purchased two of these, one to hold my huge amount of sketching pencils and another to hold my charcoal and conte sticks. Very good for the price. Now my desk is tidy and not cluttered with my materials. Product delivered on time and as seen. As my artist materials list grows I’ll def buy more of these.

ZERO VALUE FOR MONEY
1. Packing of the boxes is very poor and every time I received the boxes they were found to be dented because of their flimsiness.2. For their quality and nature of product they are very expensive. The cost is too high in spite oh the fact they are made in China. Derwent is selling a cheap item for a high cost.3. I ordered these boxes twice in spite of my dis-satisfaction because I have no other choice in the size in which Derwent is supplying.
