Perfect for DIY
Maybe it's not what it's for, but for DIY this chalk pencil is brilliant. Normally, it's a choice of a pencil or a Sharpie. The first doesn't always show up and the second won't rub off. This chalk marks a range of surfaces including painted walls, wood & brick with one of several clear colours and can be rubbed out afterwards. Additionally, as it's retractable, you can have a reasonably long nib of chalk to help mark holes through objects that you're attaching to walls, etc.The holder part is solid plastic with a good grip. It's got a clip to secure it to a pocket of your tool bag and the spare chalks come in a hard plastic case to keep them safe.A really useful and affordable item to keep in your toolbox.

Great, but minus a star for lack of a sharpener
Brilliant gadget. Works as it should. However a sharpener included would make this much more desirable. I have also the Prym branded one which does have a sharpener and as the chalk sticks are identical in size I can use it for this one. Not sure how successful sharpening would be otherwise and they do wear down quickly.

Fabulous marking chalk Pen
I don’t usually leave feedback, but I feel I must for this product. Some people were a bit disparaging of this chalk pen, I don’t know why as I think this is the best and easiest chalk dressmaking marking pen I have used.In the past I have used cheap pencils ( which or ok) but need sharpening often, or Taylor’s chalk. But this pen leaves a more defined dot or line depending on what your marking. And having various colours is great depending on the fabric colour you are marking. Also some other people say that it difficult to put the chalk into the pencil which is not true. The black knob on the top is pressed just like a propelling pencil works easy Peazy. All in all I highly recommend and won’t be using any other chalk from now on.

Great for sewing/crafting!
The media could not be loaded. This is so easy to use, hold, handle and swap out the colours! The dimpled end is magnetic aswell! I'd HIGHLY recommend adding this to your crafting supplies!

Easy to use
Really easy to use and change the chalk when needed, found the chalk not too harsh and if pressed lightly can come off easily. Good item for the price. The reason for 3 stars is that the chalk breaks easy.

It works!
After struggling with triangular chalks which I could never get to work, I came across this. It’s brilliant and I wish I’d found it years ago!

The best ever marker for Craftwork!
When I ordered this little set of tailors chalk I had no idea that it would turn out to be as helpful as it is. At first I had a bit of a struggle as there was no instructions on how to change the chalks. The black button on the end has such a strong spring and I wasn't pushing hard enough so I was left puzzled. Now that I've worked it out it is so simple - this is what I did to begin with...... I pressed the holder down on my sewing table, the jaw holding the chalk opened and I change the chalk. Now that I've used it lots I can change it by pressing with my thumb. Be careful at first and don't end up like me with the chalk shooting onto the floor and snapping in half - I can still use the two parts though. Just a light touch leaves the marks on the fabric clearly and they 'dust' off easily. It is also easy to use with a ruler as it is just like a pen. What a boon to my sewing projects. I will be buying another one to put in my sisters Christmas box this year!
