Fender 5-Position Modern-Style Stratocaster® Pickup Selector Switch

Amazing product

Bought to replace the 5-way switch on a Squier Strat which was getting upgraded pickups. I also did the bridge tone trick. The guitar sounds fantastic, which means that the switch is part of the improvement.

This is a nice sturdy switch, compared with others I’ve had over the years. Feels solid, with a positive click into each of the five positions. Used it to replace the worn out switch in my 1989 Fender Japan ‘62 Reissue Strat. Fitted with no problems.

One star missing due to no wiring instructions, or even a schematic of the connections inside the switch itself. Managed to figure it out online and with a continuity tester. I guess not needed if it’s a direct replacement. I put it into a Squier sonic since the factory fitted switch broke after a year. It fits, in case anyone’s wondering since they’re 5mm thinner than Fenders. Needed an additional piece of wire for the common. Nice quality switch.

Having used cheaper switches, that are not made as strongly or work as smoothly, this switch is just what you need, and is a good price.

Looks solid, but I haven't installed it yet.

Bought this to replace the crappy one on my Mexican Strat. This has a much more positive feel and is an easy upgrade.

I bought this to replace a cheaper switch in a Harley Benton guitar. It is sturdy and well built and feels like it will last for years. The solder points sit a nice distance from the switch, making it it easy to wire and all in all it was easy to fit. Feels much better than the original switch.

L'articolo corrisponde pienamente alle aspettative, montato e funzionante correttamente. L'unico appunto che faccio direttamente ad Amazon è che l'articolo è un po' delicato trattandosi di un pezzo elettromeccanico di piccole dimensioni con i contatti a vista, sarebbe opportuna una confezione (quella interna alla busta di spedizione) in cartone anziché una semplice bustina di plastica. Perché la confezione di spedizione (la classica bista Amazon in cartoncino) a mio avviso non protegge adeguatamente il contenuto se lasciato così in una semplice bustina di plastica. Per il resto soddisfatto al 100%.

Inexpensive and high quality. Standard installation so no "guess work" on wiring and the operation is nice and smooth with firm "clicks" into position. If you need a replacement 5-way? Don't get the PCB switches, get this instead.
