I bought these to replace the current protectors, which had begun to shed their waterproof lining. I have now owned these covers for nine months, and I am very pleased with them. They appear good quality, and they fit my standard sized pillows perfectly. After washing (as recommended before first use), they make very little noise as I move around. I have now used them through a summer and a winter, and they have proven comfortable throughout. I have found them cooler than those I had owned previously (I cannot remember the brand now), and I subjectively feel I am sleeping better. Overall, I consider them good value for money. My only wish is that this company also made a matching duvet protector!

After reading the reviews I thought I would try 2 sets to see what these were like compared to the standard cotton protectors.The pillows these were used on are VI Spring Hungarian goose down pillows with Tielle 400tc pillow cases. May seem odd to mention the pillow and case but it’s relative to the review.First off I washed the pillows as stated at 40 and as others have mentioned they do tend to be a lot wetter when removed from the washer than a standard cotton protector.They feel nice and the lining is polyurethane which gives them the better protection.They feel fine when in use but I noticed straight away that my face felt warmer than normal. The poly lining while it offers great protection does alter how the pillow works with regards to its filling. Add the heavier 400tc material of the case and I found the heat produced was a little unpleasant at times where as with a standard cotton protector and the same 400tc case the pillow fill works very well at keeping your head temps comfortable.It’s winter now and I would imagine summer time would make me feel too hot with these protectors even with a crisper, cooler tc cotton case.It’s not a bad product, seems well made and will keep your pillows fresher but the poly lining does have a downside with the extra warmth.To test this out you may notice when zipped up it holds the air and if you place your hand inside the case and blow on the outside you will see the poly lining makes it wind proof and that is why the pillow filling fails to work.If you like your bedding and have picked pillows that regulate your head temps then this protector will not be for you and if you are spending £100 plus per pillow this protector kind of defeats the object.

This item has exceeded expectations. They were bought to reline down pillows ( to reduce feathers escaping) without adding unnecessary bulk. It was important that they are a quality item, well made and soft. Zips are very good.I am very pleased with this product as they are excellently made and there is the addition of being protection from spills. Good value for money.

I've been using these for years - my husband sweats a lot at night so needs a pillow protector and I also use them on the kids pillows in case of stomach bugs. I also have one on my mine just for the sake of it.They're smooth, soft, do not bobble at all in the wash, comfortable, not plastic-y or crinkly and have a zip closure. Love them, fit large pillow cases and love the zip fastener which majes sure the pillow does fall out overnight, easy to keep clean, great price.
