Teach Like a Champion Field Guide 3.0: A Practical Resource to Make the 63 Techniques Your Own [Lemov, Doug, McCleary, Sadie, Solomon, Hannah, Woolway, Erica] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Teach Like a Champion Field Guide 3.0: A Practical Resource to Make the 63 Techniques Your Own Review: Good book - This book is teaching me things administration never mentioned or taught me. Review: Keystone Videos are a game changer - I loved getting to watch teachers for longer stretches of time. Some of the new videos are over 10 minutes long and it's really helpful to see the greater context of the teachers and their classrooms. I also liked the organization around the different teachers, I felt like I was getting to know them. This is more of a companion book to the core TLAC book, it's not organized around the techniques, but seeing how those technique are adapted and incorporated by real teachers. I really liked getting to watch Christine's class.

Good!
This was a great book. I wish I had more in the series to completely understand it all. I think I was really looking for something that I could implement in my classroom immediately and I didn’t feel like this was it but it is a good book.

good
Helpful reading. The format of the longer videos was an interesting add ,though I prefer shorter videos

Overall good
The book makes incredible points for teachers to understand and learn. The guiding principles flow throughout the books aim. However, I don’t enjoy reading like someone’s trying to have a conversation with me or as if I’m sitting in a lecture hall during PD day.

I read TLAC 3.0 for the first time last year and was totally absorbed - I've implemented a fair bit into my teaching already, but it's inevitably a slow burn as you think things over. This is the perfect companion, with some new videos and thought points, and also advice on how best to learn from videos (useful from the perspective of someone delivering CPD to staff). If you've read TLAC 3.0 I'd definitely buy this; if you haven't, go and read that first.
