Excellent film but not the most efficient way of getting it!
I have just developed my first two films and they look good. The experience that Ilford has really is obvious and they have made some excellent films here. One a side note however, I realsied after looking for some more that this is the most expensive way to purchase this film (marginally)£25.75 for 5 films is £5.15 eachThey are on amazon for £4.99 each individuallyThere is also a 10 film bundle for £46.75 which is £4.67 each.Just something I thought that would be worthwhile noting. The expiry date on the box is March 2020 for mine bought in August 2016 so plenty of time to get though them although people have had good results from HP5+ with film that has been in a draw for decades!

Good value for money
After completing a photography evening class at the beginning of the year I've been buying Ilford film for my camera from our local Boots. Even with offers it still ends up being expensive buying film from them. Getting 5 films here was a much better option. Almost finished shooting my first roll and looking forward to developing it at a black and white development course the local college will be running in the Autumn.

Proper photography
Film. 35mm celluloid film. In black and white, for a real camera. It's such a beautiful medium. I was so excited by getting back into film that I wasted 36 exposures on really boring plants which, in black and white, produced some of the most worthless and boring images ever capture in the history of humanity.Luckily with my remaining 4 rolls I intend to do some street photography and capture the beautiful array of human faces out there. Great film, for real cameras.

Perfect for all
Great film, forgiving when over/underexposing, not too grainy. recommend for all ages, beginner and experts

my favourite photography film
my favourite photography film. adds character to your photos and it's fun to try and include its characteristics like grain and contrast into your shot compositions. You get great photos even without having photoshopped them! Only downside is the ever rising cost and decreasing availability of film and its development labs ... :(
