Mavala Double Lash - Strengthens Lashes Eyebrows For A Longer, Denser Stronger Effect 10ml

Great price for £10 I really can’t complain. I have become sick of paying over £20 for Rapidlash which was preventing my lashes from falling out but it wasn’t really encouraging new growth or thickness - it never brought any noticeable change to my lash and brow hairs the progress kind of stalled? so I decided to take a chance with this lash serum. I saw it had mixed reviews so I wasn’t too sure if it would work. The bottle is nice, easy to open and close. Plenty of serum in there too which in comparison to my previous lash serum there is only 4ml in there and I was constantly struggling to even get the serum out of the tube. I have experienced no irritation with this product. I have allergies and it has not triggered any of them. Within one week my lashes had a pretty curl to them and I did not use any eyelash curlers before or after starting this serum - they’re naturally short ish lashes so I saw the difference quite quickly. The serum strengthened my brow and lash hairs they feel tougher than they were before and seem to have slightly increased in thickness which I am very happy with. My lashes have grown a little bit and that growth seems to have stabilised. I am not expecting to grow super long lashes so personally I’m very very happy with the results. I’ve only been using this for three weeks and so far the difference is amazing. When I use mascara my lashes look longer, curled and the effect really opens my eyes. I apply this at the base of my lashes and work it up to the tips every night and brush it across my brows too. Only con is that once it dries it looks like crust on your lashes lol Overall don’t expect miracles, it does grow your lashes it does strengthen them and I can’t speak for everyone but my lashes did grow, not by a huge amount but it’s enough to dramatically improve the appearance of lashes when mascara is used. If my lashes get any longer ill update this. For the price I will say I got very fast results with this literally within days and then for some growth it took a few weeks. Compared to other serums that take weeks of use before you notice anything at all. :)

Unlike many products I tried over the years it caused no irritation I would have particularly noticed in the mornings. Guess when you sleep you rub your eyes on the pillow and, the eyes might water, etc. as they are basically trying ‘to get rid of’ product/ingredients that are not fit for this sensitive area. The result then were swollen, itchy and irritated eyes in the morning. Not with this one! Consistency: Perfect for me - Non-sticky, liquid but not watery it is absorbed quickly and is fragrance free Application: Great - I love their small mascara brush for application vs. the eye liner often used with this type of product. I can apply product more precisely to both sides of lashes while reaching down to the roots. Hence no access liquid in your eyes and your lashes get a great nice groom too. After application on both eyes I use the rest on the brush for the brows. Results: Applying it twice a day and after using 50% of the bottle my lashes are definitely longer, thicker and more luscious. You can also tell in the morning / without make up as your eyes don’t look so ‘bare/naked’. I even got rid of a small spot with sparse hair on one brow I had for years. Overall: Definitely a great product. If you expect your lashes length to double - I don’t think this is possible. However, the results are definitely quite noticeable and will obviously depend on what is the best one can get out of their lashes. It will be interesting to see results over a longer period – like any other beauty product you’ll have to be committed in order to achieve best results. Note: Mavala, a reputable Swiss brand (my mum actually used their products when I was a child) does without paid bloggers, social media hype or campaigns with celebrity brand ambassadors. This might suggest that research & development are allocated to product development!

In June 2011, I had lash extensions glued onto my own lashes while on holiday. The glue was so strong, the false lashes were still stuck fast after 4 weeks and I was getting a little tired of resembling Barbara Cartland. The lashes were eventually removed by a patient beautician using glue softener and some sort of scraper. I think the false lashes weakened my own lashes and I lost a fair few lashes when the falsies were scraped off. Oh Dear! My eyes are my best feature (I am not bragging, the rest of my face is below par) so I was rather concerned that my own lashes looked short and sparse particularly at the inner corners. I am a mascara fiend as well and I noticed that my usual mascara seemed to clump on the wasteland of lashes. It was then I decided that my lashes needed some TLC. I decided not to use mascara for 4 weeks and I bought Mavala Double Lash Night treatment. To be honest, I could hardly tell any difference at the end of 4 weeks so picked up my neglected mascara. THEN I noticed a difference! The mascara (the same I always use) adhered to my lashes like never before. I only needed one coat to see the difference. My lashes were definitely longer in places so I could see a slightly spikey effect. The corner lashes had grown back so the mascara was landing on lashes instead of eyelids. Each lash seems to be thicker rather than me having more lashes. Mascara does not clump and the lashes are more separated than they ever used to be (when wearing mascara). I do not know if the serum swells each lash so that it looks thicker (which would account for the mascara not clumping) but whatever it is, I am happy to recommend (as I have done to my friends). The serum is rather thin and feels like water when applying it. It dries very quickly and I put several coats on. The serum does seem to last a long time. I think it will last at least 6 months which is a good investment. Don't take my word for it. Just try it and see. Update 4th September 2011: In the past week, three people have commented on my eye lashes saying my lashes look thicker and longer and have assumed I have changed mascara which I haven't. I did not seek their opinion. I may have been optimistic thinking the serum will last 6 months. Four months might be more accurate. I will be buying my second bottle before then.

I cannot use other eyelash serums as one of my eyes is allergic, but this one is great! You need to use it consistently every day but trust me you really see your lashes getting longer. I also use it on my underneath lashes and on my eyebrows. Honestly this is a great product. I have bought many of these because it really works!

I’ve been using this eyelash serum twice a day for several weeks now, and unfortunately, I haven’t seen any results at all. It’s disappointing, especially after all the time and effort. On the positive side, the bottle and brush are easy to use, which makes application straightforward. However, the lack of effectiveness means I won’t be repurchasing this product.

I recieved this item only a week ago and used it the moment it arrived . I re-applied the product at night before bed and I've used it morning and night ever since . Prior to using this product I had purchased a much more expensive serum and was disappointed as I saw no visible results whatsoever. This item from Mavala is unbelievable . After two days I noticed a difference and after one week my lashes are thicker and actually appear darker . I also apply it to my brows and use a very thin liner brush to apply it to the base of my lashes morning and night . The more expensive expensive serums advise painting it on the lash roots too so I've continued to do that with this product . As a more mature lady who has lost lashes and brows due to both age and illness , I find this product an absolute Godsend . Folk are actually asking if I'm wearing mascara when I'm not . It's brilliant . My brows look less sparse and much more luxurious and there are hairs growing where I had overplucked. I would recommend this product to everyone as it certainly does what it states . Its not a "fluke product" and it's a bargain at the price when compared to other similar items that make promises but don't deliver results. Highly Recommended A definate five star product * * * * *

I used Mavala Lash Serum for about 6 weeks and initially saw some positive results. My lashes looked slightly fuller and healthier, and I didn’t experience any irritation while applying it nightly. It goes on like a clear mascara and felt lightweight and gentle on my eyes. However… After reading several posts on beauty forums about potential side effects such as increased dark circles or lash fallout, I got a bit nervous. While I personally didn’t have any major issues, I didn’t want to take the risk for limited gain, so I stopped using it. Pros: • Affordable and lasts a long time • Easy to use and non-irritating (in my experience) • Slight improvement in lash health (I think) Cons: • Some reported side effects made me wary • Brush could be more precise • Results were subtle and slow to show Final Thoughts: If you're curious to try it, it may work well for you, just do your research first. I’m glad I gave it a try, but I’ve decided to err on the side of caution and stop for now.
