Splendid seeds
I don't pretend to be an expert on how chia seeds are grown, harvested, processed and stored, but the final product I received in the bag seems to be very good. There is certainly no debris or detritus in the bag and the seeds looked fresh on arrival in a good quality, resealable bag. The only comparison I have is with Naturya Chia Seeds 300 g , which are the only chia seeds I have bought other than these. One clearly noticeable difference is that these Sevenhills chia seeds seem to have far more light coloured seeds among them, while the Naturya ones seemed predominantly dark in colour. Does this make a difference? Which is better; light or dark seeds? Is this a random thing that differs from batch to batch? I must admit that I do not know the answer to these questions but perhaps other people do. I can only comment on the taste and texture of these Sevenhills chia seeds, which did not seem much different to the Naturya other than perhaps being slightly milder in taste. The photograph of the nutritional information label in the product listing is accurate, which is not always the case with products like these. Compared to the Naturya seeds, these Sevenhills ones are higher in calories and fat, while being significantly higher in protein but significantly lower in fibre. People can make up their own minds about that, but it is does imply that not all brands of chia seeds are equal. As far as I'm concerned, the taste and texture of these seeds is more than acceptable, and the nutritional value is high. The price per kilo at the time of writing makes them the best value for money chia seeds I have come across. Therefore I don't see any reason not to recommend them and I shall certainly be purchasing them again. Crucially when purchasing such a large quantity, the best before date was 32 months away on the date of delivery.

Excellent value, excellent results.
Excellent seeds, excellent value. I have definitely noticed an improvement in my general health; my fingernails are much stronger and my energy levels have increased.I advise caution when first introducing chia seeds to a diet — they have a big impact. I took the general advice to increase fluid intake but, even so, I suffered from slight headaches for a couple of weeks at first, which I put down to a healing crisis so in a bizarre way, this was a good thing. At first, only half a teaspoon consumed daily was enough for me to be amazed at the amount of energy I had each day. I'm now having about a teaspoon daily with my muesli. Some people say these seeds should be ground to obtain maximum benefits but I'm not bothering to do so and still find they have made a remarkable difference to my general wellbeing.

good value
I'm a big fan of chia seeds as they are so good for you. There are many benefits to eating chia seeds such as: they act as a natural appetite suppressant, they are a great source of protein and they are just packed with nutrients. There are also so many uses for these seeds such as an egg substitute in baking, in smoothies, in porridge etc.I ordered a 2kg bag of chia seed which should last me for a long time. They come in a good quality, resealable bag and the seeds themselves don't expire for quite a while. For such a big bag, it's great value for money and I would definitely buy again once I've used them all up.

Decent
These are fairly standard Chia seeds so not much to say about that really. If you use them a lot like I do this is a lot more practical than buying 75g or 150g bags that supermarkets sell.Keep in mind the 2KG bag is pretty huge, being a similar size to a cereal box so I would recommend decanting some seeds into a jar as it's quite tricky to scoop the seeds out of the bag.

Good price but
These Chias from Severn Hills are jolly nice - I've had them before and they great added to fruit or cereals etc so 5 stars for the contents. However the packet was split and a few seeds had spilled in to the box and the counter when I lifted it out - luckily only a few - Chias are very light and do get everywhere if you're not careful ! and I fixed the bag with gaffa tape - every kitchen should have it !

Ultimate Review: Fantastic Value for Money
Fantastic quality chia. Comes in really sturdy resealable packaging.Thoroughly recommended. Far cheaper buying 2kg in one go than paying 3x the price in supermarkets.

Quality Chia At Good Price
Chia Seeds are one of the current Super Foods of the moment and they are very good being full of fibre, nutrients and healthy fats. You also get white or black seeds, these being the black ones (a few white ones sneak in too). The only real difference being that the white ones don't look so unsightly if they are stuck on your teeth. Nutritionally they are the same.I personally grind my down before using as I've read more of the good stuff is released this way.Price wise this is really good value, better than my usual source which is Costco.

Fantastic
Bought these because of the health benefits of what the contain, omega-3, omega-6, calcium, iron the list goes on.I put a tbspoon and half into a large cup of luke warm water, leave sit over night in the fridge, then I blend in my magic bullet with my meal replacement shake making it thick like a smoothie, I do a workout around an hour later.. I feel loads of energy no urges at all to snack through the day and it keeps me feeling full for hours! I've been having this every morning for over a week, my tummy feels flatter and I lost 4lbs in a week but I'm on a healthy diet and do excersise 3-4pw. I couldn't reccomen these enough, bought the 2kg bag which will last a long time but I'll definately be purchasing again!
