Hatchimals 6037096 Surprise Playset

Bought for granddaughter for birthday, and she loved them to bits.When open you have to hatch them which adds to the experience.A little bit pricey.

Brilliant! Bought this for my daughters 5th birthday, unboxed the egg, we only had to hold/rub/play with the egg for around 5-10mins and it started hatching! She was so excited! Especially when she realised there were 2 babies in there! So glad I got it for her. They were her favourite present of the day, she even took them to bed with her that night ❤️ thank you seller

As a parent, I loathe these toys; noisy, cheaply and crudely constructed while being terrible for the environment.As for functionality, one twin moves about, the mechanics straining and whirring as if its head is about to dislodge and explode; it doesn't of course. The other, its eyes light up, which inevitably will leave one child disappointed (should you have bought the twins for two kids to share).As for my children, they loved them right from the hatching process, which was momentarily entertaining when the top twin burst out of the shell.Their eyes light up, they sing and make enough noise that leaves you wishing the batteries would run flat quickly; the product, not the child...Overall verdict: kids love them, parents hate them.

The most annoying toys ever haha but my girls love them! Watching them hatch was magical and I'm not sure who was more excited! Great fun!

Hatched VERY fast - less than 10 minutes of cuddling - does not hold 5 year olds attention at all and the 9 year old got bored fast too. Better off with a Furby as they are more interactive. These are cute, make nice noises and the hatching was really exciting for my daughter but they are not worth the money and are now sat quietly on a shelf.

7 Year old daugher loves these two. Great drama when they hatch and the Hatchimals themselves are wonderfully weird. The Gizmo/Mogwai esque dialogue they have between eachother is hilarious.

Absolutely adorable, little boy, who is 5 enjoys them. He really enjoyed watching them hatch. Super fast delivery. Very happy I want more 😂

My daughter has wanted a hatchimal for ages so for her birthday I got her this one as it had just been released. She knew once it was hatched it would be a bit like a furby. She wanted to draw out the hatching process for as long as possible, we removed the tab and she cuddled it and followed some of the cues, then she put it down to open her other presents. When she came back to it 20 minutes later it was ready to hatch, no more interaction with the egg, it just showed rainbow eyes and wouldn't do anything else. She was very disappointed. Hatching was fun for all of 5 minutes when it stopped and after waiting another 10 minutes with nothing happening we realised that she would have to remove them from the egg. Twin one is not as good and a furby and twin 2 is practically useless. They have sat unplayed with since.
