Wonderful, best pencils on the market!
I have bought nearly every brand of soft pencils and I have to say that prismacolor are the best pencils on the market. I know they are expensive and hard to come by in the UK but they are worth every penny. They enable you to truly create a work of art with pencil crayons. I always hated pencils until I discovered soft pencil crayons. They are amazing and always sharpen with no breakages unlike normal pencils. As a result I always buy cheaper soft pencils for my young children as I was forever sharpening them and got so fed up with broken leads! Soft pencil crayons are the way forward! These pencil crayons are amazing and blend so much better than other brand leaders. I bought this set so I could take a smaller tin of pencils out with me rather than the much bigger box I own. Worth every penny and I truly believe they are the best on the market and as I said I have got all the other top brands too and been disappointed that the others don’t blend as well as prismacolor! You can create amazing works of art and amazing for colouring books too. Now my favourite tool for colouring which is excellent for mindfulness and relaxing. Top buy and very portable as in tin.

I would really recommend purchasing to anyone thinking of trying to draw with ...
Prior to buying these pencils I was hesitant as I had never used coloured pencils to draw portraits, only graphite pencils and charcoal etc. However I went ahead and brought them anyway, and I've never looked back or picked up a pencil to draw with again. Even as a beginner, I would really recommend purchasing to anyone thinking of trying to draw with coloured pencils who want a high quality outcome as these pencils have a vibrant pigment and you get a variety of colours and shades to choose from so your not too restricted, great set to start of with in my opinion. They are the best quality pencils/coloured pencils I've ever owned. Before buying them I couldn't choose between these or the Faber Castell coloured pencils, the Prismacolors are wax based and ultimately provide a better finish in my opinion as I found from doing research on instagram etc. If your going to buy any Prismacolor set, I would strongly advise (if you haven't already) to purchase the blender pencils as these blend colours beautifully and provide such a clean finish to your work and (I would actually find it difficult to use the pencils without the blenders). In addition, I would also advise that you purchase the Prismacolor sharpener, it may be pricey but if your willing to spend a lot of money on these pencils they need looking after and a decent sharpener. Ive had my pencils and sharpener over a year now and they've never snapped or broke from using this sharpener and I wouldn't trust using any cheap ones on them as it can damage the lead in the pencils. Overall, amazing pencils and really good to have if your in to art/drawing.

Great pencils that create better results/effects than standard pencils. Will improve your colouring/art projects.
I have started colouring as a hobby and therapeutic pastime because I liked it when I was a child and wanted some of that joy back. When starting colouring I was initially disappointed by the washed out and unprofessional looking colouring I was making so I researched colouring materials and came to prismacolour pencils. After much research I decided to purchase a set. These were quite expensive and I wasn’t fully convinced that they were up to the hype. Well, I can safely say that they are great pencils and that they create better results/effects than standard pencils. They are very blendable, soft and creamy and when using them it’s almost like painting, as you work colours into one another to create seamless blends, they can also be layered on top of each other to create deeper colours and effects. If you want to take your colouring/art to the next level then get a set of these pencils. I got this set as it seemed to offer a wide range of starter colours to cover a range of colouring options from people to animals to objects. I would consider buying a bigger set with a larger set of colours in the future.

Mostly great
Pencils are great, buttery and blend nice. My only issue is the tin was dented (no big deal) but I received 2 Violet Blue (PC933) instead of a PC932 purple shade pencil.

If these are fake, they are Really Really good fakes
I was a little hesitant to buy these as I've read reviews of the 72 pack that said those pencils were fake. Nonetheless, the reviews on these looked good and there's a pack of 22 by the same seller that's Amazon's choice so I figured whatever, I'd take the bullet. After using these for a few days, making swatches, doing blending tests and watching a couple of reviews that compared fakes to real pencils (here's a good one in spanish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWfb5gS52M8&t=464s) I've come to the conclusion: if these are fake, they are Really Really good fakes. The pencils have a good weight to them, their size matches the standard and the swatches match what is up online. The pencils are super pigmented. I actually have to be careful not to press too hard or I'll instantly get a solid color payoff. They also blend with ease and you can achieve quite a smooth gradient without much effort or extra product.I should point out though that I'm a digital artist first and foremost and I use these mainly just to play around on my sketchbook, so if you're looking to buy these so you can paint hyperrealistic portraits of Johnny Depp, I can't fully vouch for them.Still, overall I think these are super nice! They seem legit to me, but without trying ones that I know are real for sure I will never be 100% certain. Still, for their price, I have no regrets.

Sublime!
Well what can I say? These pencils are perfection - just gorgeous to draw and sketch with. I can’t express what a joy they are to use. I’d stopped drawing for years until I got these - now I can’t wait to pick them up and get into a bit of sketching. The colour saturation and the effortless ease with which that rich loveliness seems to lay itself on the page is my idea of heaven! If you like drawing - buy these and thank me later!
