Heavyweight trousers
Like some others, I removed the knee protectors as I find them uncomfortable. These are HEAVY! I need to tighten my (replacement heavy-duty) belt as much as possible as they just keep falling done! They're fine when on the bike, but they are not a fashion statement for me when I walk around holding them up :-)Great value and great protection.

Texpeed motorcycle leather trousers - All in all very good for the price
Good quality leather trousers that fit just right, well they do for me. The belt that comes with, helps with adjustment. The small coarse attachment zip comes with the other part to be fitted into a jacket if it has not got one. CE protection in hip & knee pockets on the inside of the trousers. Nylon mesh lining on the inside. Corrugated stretch panels on the side of the hip & above knee are leather. Zips at the bottom of the leg with a Velcro tab over. These trousers can be worn over your boots (depending on the type of boots) as they are a straight leg & not tapered in at the bottom.I ordered the same size as I did my ordinary jeans & the leathers are the same fit as my jeans, so size is spot on, unless you want to wear other trousers underneath, then I would suggest the next size up.I didn’t take the advice of other reviews & left the knee protection in (what a mistake that was) cause when trying them on they felt fine but after a 5 hour ride my knee was sore from it digging in. You can get the knee protection into a comfortable position but after a couple of legs down & back up they can move position. The hip protection is fine no problems with them digging in.Just have to say the seller was spot on, no problems there

Leather Tourer Jeans
I take a size 30 waist and 29/30 inside leg depending on the normal jeans I wear. I decided to order the 30 waist and 29 leg in the leathers, they fit quite well in comparison to jeans for me. However I am a slim build and have slim legs, the trousers are zipped at the bottom allowing some open expansion, but I feel that anyone with slightly bulkier calves and thicker legs would be better going a size up, as these trousers are tapered down to quite a narrow ankle apx 6/1/2" = 12/13 inches circumference, which is great if you want to get them inside race boots, as there is no bulky excess, but no good if you want them to go over them, I know they wouldn't go over my RST's or Richa boots but do tuck inside nicely, but they should be OK if you wear ankle boots of any kind. The quality is very good for the price, and everything looks well made, like most I have removed knee armour as its to cumbersome and restrictive, the knee is still well padded though to a degree, I have left hip protectors in as they are not restrictive. Overall decent quality and well put together, Waist size is fairly accurate, but leg tapers to quite narrow, so may be a problem for some because of this, if your going to wear them over something defo go size up, for slim build people the sizes are very accurate, for chunkier/thicker stature built people, go up one size. hope this helps.

Initial impressions: good.
I bought these on the weekend, wore them for the first time on the bike today & thought I'd jot down my initial impressions. To note, I bought the next size up as I'd be wearing my work clothes beneath which seems perfect for me.The first thing I noticed is the weight, they're heavy; have the usual CE rated protection but also have additional cotten (I'm assuming) padding on the knees between the leather and armour which is a nice touch. I feel safe in these things, but that comes at the price of being a bit restricted; the legs feel unnecessarily tight & I think the crotch could be lower & the waistline a little higher, the crotch cups a little too snuggly than I'm comfortable with. Contrary to what one of the Q&A's says, they can be worn over boots (or can over mine at least, I have a pair of Richa Nomads which I can easily zip the ankles over).Aside from the crotch-cupping, they're tight on the legs, not a problem if you're going short distances but I can see them hurting if you're on a proper expedition; I'm looking forward to them softening up a bit. That's it for now, I'll try to remember to update these later on with a bit more information after I've taken a proper soaking & they've softened a tad.

Rod Stewerts.
Ordered these as I’ve made the right lifestyle choice of getting back on two wheels as it’s been nearly 25 years since my last two wheeled fun. They arrived promptly and once I had donned my new ‘Rod Stewerts’, the wife wet herself with laughter and the cat eyed me with a degree of suspicion. The first time out on the beast (a yammy SR125, I know you’re well jell) didn’t end well, it broke down after 5 miles and saw me pushing the damn thing whilst doing my best Freddie Mercury strides. The Rods however have only increased my level of rad ness to the dizzying heights of level ten! A grand purchase to see me as the coolest chap in the quaint English village of Leckford-upon-test. Go buy some and see your kudos enhanced

Excellent value for money, but the sizing is a bit on the tight size.
Great value for money, high quality leather, well manufactured, the zippers seem to be alright ( they are not absolute high-end quality, this can't be seriously expected in this price range). I had to remove the knee pads ( like some of my predecessors), they are simply too tight on the legs. I just about fit in the trousers, if in doubt go one size up above your customary waist size ( I expect the leather to widen comes time ).Watch out: the legs are really very long even as a "normal / standard" length, the image suggests this; I appreciate this as I like to wear ankle-boots underneath the pants ( there may be problems if the trousers are planned to be tossed into calf-boots in which case the customer ought to order a short inside leg ). Would have given 5 stars if the sizing were a bit more accurate, but by and large a brilliant product for the price ( some 15 years ago a pair of trousers of this quality easily commanded twice the price ( and this is NOT inflation-adjusted).
