20x25x1 AirThreds Machine Washable & Dryable Air Filter - Permanent HVAC AC Furnace Filter

This arrived today, and it took all of 2 minutes to carefully assemble the frame.The frame is sturdy, square tubular (1/2") plastic design. It's hollow and the pieces slide into each other with a 1" tongue.I wouldn't call it cheap!The material reminds me of the EXPENSIVE SNEAKER breathable mesh. I am tired of paying through the nose for filters.$7/mo = $84/yr... This should easily last a year... So it is much cheaper than the nicer Filtrete Filters.I am sad that they don't offer 2 sleeves... Because you have to wash and dry this in the machine. this is roughly 2 hrs. I can't shut my unit off for 2hrs in FL... Maybe in TN. I am working through options, but I WILL NOT RUN my unit without a filter.2 Filters seems very logical, and I hope the company reconsiders their position on this. This means, I take the clean one out of the closet, put it on, and wash and put away the current one. Repeat once a month like clock work.For the record, a few years ago, I got tired of paying for the Gillette Razor Heads. I learned to use an old style Double Edge Razor to shave with, and now shaving costs about 10 CENTS a shave, with a fresh blade every time. It's little things like this that add up. I bought a years worth of blades and 2 handles for less than a 2 months worth of Mach 3 blades!I consider this kind of investment the same thing.

They work great! They are sturdy. I used to work in heating and AC so I was worried about the airflow but I had zero issues with airflow. I got the first one when it still was over 100° here in Phoenix every day so I would’ve known if there were issues with the airflow LOL. I ordered a second one now. Super easy to deal with and no more buying new three month filters every month (desert living issues).

So far very satisfied, it was very easy to assemble. The quality looks very duarable, the packaging is great. I will leave more feedback in a couple weeks, as to how it seems to be working and how it holds up in the wash. An excellent idea though, as it will save money every couple months instead of having to buy new filters, I am excited to see if it stands the test!

It fits well, and the frame is sturdy. Clearly a better filter than disposable ones. I also like the idea of just washing the filter instead of buying a new one every two months or so...

These are so awesome! We live in an area with LOTS of dust. Our dogs also shed, a lot! We were trashing our filters every week! Now I just vacuum the filter, then throw it in the washer! Make sure and buy 2 so you have a clean filter to put on while you’re washing the other one.

A lot better than other disposable ones. It is very thick, so it seemed like air wasnt moving as freely through the house. But to me, the waste was a bigger issue than air flow, so I'm very happy with the purchase.

Hasn’t noticed any change, but I like this knowing I can throw it in the wash & not having to spend more money.

Works great! have washed several times and is holding up well. Frame is sturdy and cover well made. I was prepared to love it and I do!
