Works as described, well made, smooth finish, etc. They get 5 stars for all that stuff. But,.....when someone uses it of course there is some gravy around the lip. No dripping but that's not my issue. My son was second to use it at Thanksgiving and just tipped it to pour as anyone would. The lid was sort of stuck down from the bit of gravy around the lid. So, you can likely guess what happened. Lid popped open and he got a weeks supply of gravy. I tried to warn him and suggested he open the lid before tipping it to pour, but he is got ahead of my warning. It will pour with the lid closed but not thick gravy very well. This wouldn't be a problem with au jus but IS a problem with au gravy. Au shucks. This is the best of the insulated pitchers I have seen but expect to be calling "Clean up on aisle 4" if you don't keep everyone warned before beginning the meal.

I loved the size of this gravy "boat" - however the lid falls apart when cleaning and that is not funny.

It works really well and keep the gravy warm/hot. The only issue is we had two mishaps where we end up with a plate of gravy and some on my nephews lap. The lid sticks? or is tightly insulated whatever the reason when you push the lever to open the lid to pour it can be tricky. I probably would of returned it if I kept the box.

Okay here's an honest review. I love the style and shape of this item.... It going to look perfect with other server items on my table. I will prefill with hot water to warm the inside before adding the gravy. Now the next family gathering in is April so if it works like I hope I'll give it a 5 star rating.

This item is fantastic. If you have ever had a family of gravy lovers like I do, you know how important it is to have gravy stay hot longer than 5 minutes. Well this insulated pitcher keeps gravy hot, steaming hot, for over an hour. This is one of the best kitchen appliances we have ever come across in the last 10 tears. I might need a second one so at the large dining table, you don't need to pass it around so much.

It's functional. The only issue I have is pouring it. It pours fast. I had 3 guest with their plate full of gravy. It's almost impossible to pour just a little and it drops all the way down the container.

This was AWESOME for our Thanksgiving dinner. Little tricky at first to figure out pouring and if you don't do it right, you get a huge slop of gravy. But it did the job.

Gravy stays warm as i fill with boiling water before putting the gravy in. And its very easy to use at the table no spills

Initially a little hesitant in how the jug would look on the table but the nice satiny finish makes it look attractive enough for special dinners. Really impressed with how well the double walled insulation keeps the gravy steaming hot. Important to heat the interior of the jug with boiling water for a good five to ten minutes prior to filling jug with gravy. Only downside is the hinge for the lid seems to be flimsy.

It keeps the gravy hot and is easy to handle.
