Airstream makes great trailers but they do not have a lighting designer. The original lights are ugly, Wal-Mart shopping ready 6500K for that 2 AM shopping ambience inside your trailer.You don’t want 6500K in your house. Why would you want it in your RV?I have now installed these fixtures inside two Airstream trailers and the ambience is night and day difference. They are easy to install with the somewhat flimsy feeling, yet suitable enough spring clips. I installed 15 of these in about an hour. Simply pull out the OEM lights taking care the springs don’t get you like a mousetrap, cut the wires or remove from existing connectors (one of my trailers had crimp connectors, the other had WAGO), then wire the new one while observing + or - and pop them back in the ceiling.The 3000K color temp is so nice and the aluminum slim appearance pairs perfectly with the Airstream aluminum.I also used the reading lights with USB and nightlight feature by the same company to replace Airstream’s reading lights. They are great too. I will review those separately.Even if these only last a few years, they are a mere few dollars a piece and take a few minutes each to change. It’s a no brainer.

I installed 4 of these in the headliner of my Toyota Sienna minivan along with an LED dimmer switch. They provide extra brightness, look great, what's not to like? The slim profile is fantastic, the construction is solid, and the 20 AWG wire coming out the backs was easy to connect to 16 AWG stranded wire with quick connects.

More light than expected worst case. Big brand names cost 10x as much. So great comparative value. Warm white is very “warm”. Cool is slightly brighter. As well as “cool” white light. Tested only 2 of 60 so far. Springs are fragile and need 2 hands for install otherwise slip off retainer. Requiring minor re-assemble. Had one spring break, so that light is unusable. I’ve got about 30 and operational, and I love them. On my ammeter they draw 0.2 A at 12.8 V. Less than expected, given that they have decent life. I space them anywhere from 18 inches, which is minimal, to 27 inches apart, which is sort of a maximum. I use the warm lights in the state rooms and the cool lights in those heads or washer. Don't wait to install these. I had a few springs break and it was too late for me to return.

I installed 12 ea in my boat ceiling. Very easy to install, give off a nice soft white color. They are a very good quality at a great price.

I have these lights installed under my RV kitchen cabinets. I used four lights to illuminate five feet of countertop. I have them on a dimmer. At full brightness, there is more than enough light as task lighting. In general, we dim them down for ambiance lighting.

Purchased these mostly because of thin profile - but the lights are great!! I think they put off an above average amount of light for their size. But not more than you would want from this size of 12V light. They are of very good quality. We used them in our vintage camper and are very happy with them. One picture is looking up from under the cupboard that they are installed in the other is directly at the cupboard (because the window is not in it brighter that it would be but you get the overall idea by looking at the wood behind. These lights will adequately light the table they are over.

Bright and simple to install but the springs are poorly designed and pop off very easily. Be careful. It will be interesting to see how long they last, will update if needed.
