Universal for LG Smart TV Remote Control Replacement (Pack of 2)

My kids destroy remotes. So I needed some to replace the ones they ruined, and these more than fit the bill. Interestingly enough, these generic LG remotes work perfectly with a TV I bought in 2015, as well as the one I just purchased last month. (The credit for that happy discovery is likely more to LG than whomever made these.)Regardless... I actually prefer these remotes to the original LG remotes. Why? (1) Cost effective. They are built pretty good so I expect they should last at least a couple of years, but should one of them die in service its not going to cost me 50 bucks for an OEM replacement. (2) No voice recognition function! I'm really not comfortable with LG, Amazon, Disney, and whatever other app happens to be running on my new TV (aka "listening device") recording my family member's voice prints. I'm sorry. I do not trust corporations to put my family's personal privacy above their desire to make a profit... so I am happy there is no voice function. And finally (3) these remotes DO NOT use the LG magic pointer, which as much as I tried to get used to it over many years, I find I am able to select and activate whatever I desire far faster with the simple arrow buttons on the remote, then trying to aim at a particular target and click. It feel like I'm trying to play "Duck Hunt" for those of you old enough to remember that arcade classic. Even my kids prefer using the arrows on the remote than having to aim & click (most of the time). Anyway, to sum up" These are cheap, and they get the job done. I am quite pleased.

We love the durability of this remote, the functionality and how lightweight it is! It’s very easy to sync up to our tv and we have proudly purchased at least 7 of these as our dog also loves the remote 🤣

We purchased this remote because the remotes that come with the Samsung TVs are absolutely horrible. We were mashing buttons so hard we were literally giving ourselves arthritis! This remote is so easy to use simplistic in its buttons and easy to pull one place to the next. The unfortunate part is it does not work with our TV for the voice aspect of it, only because our TV is a little bit older by about 6 years. It synced immediately there was no setup, the range of the remote control is fantastic. Maybe one of the most responsive remotes I have in the house. It's extremely durable, put the batteries in and go. I am so happy with this remote I almost wish it originally came with the TV. Keep making this excellent product it fits in the hand so beautifully!

The listed compatible models didn't include my TV, so I took a bit of a chance on this. Fortunately, it worked great out of the box without even needing to pair. Features like voice commands need pairing to work though, so do follow the instructions and just hold down two buttons to pair. Pretty painless and simple. The first pairing attempt failed, but it succeeded on a retry. Voice and everything works as you'd expect. The weight, shape, and feel are pretty similar to the OEM remote.My remote model was BN59-01330H with the TV model being QN55LS03DAF /QN55LS03DAFXZA for the 55" Samsung Frame from 2020.

UPDATE: I thought I was paired, and I was not. That's why it only worked when I pointed the remote at the TV and the sensor is visible to the TV sensor. I re-paired the remote on a hunch, and it works much like the OEM remote now.This remote looks very close to the real Samsung remote but has none of the functionality. For starters, you have to make sure the sensor on the TV can see the sensor on the remote for anything to work. The voice prompt doesn't work. The buttons require a lot of pressure to work. But if you just need a basic remote, this should work. Don't mistake this remote for the original Samsung remote.

Works perfectly for our Vizio. Our original remote was damaged from our quick grabbing teething baby. This replacement hasn't let us down and holds up in the hands of a heavy-handed toddler. Connectivity reaches from different rooms, and it's definitely worth every penny!

Good. Works straight out of the box for 90% of functions on the Frame.The only issues are the On/ Off does not have continuous hold and only puts the TV into art mode and not off/ standby.Also the fast fwd button also isn't continuous and needs to press for any forward or backwards and not a smooth scroll like the original.Not bad for the price I guess
